It’s great to see you active! Very good to see, have seen you more active in the discord vc. Although, I think you can still improve the activity in the discord chat. Additionally, I believe your professionalism can be worked towards. Other than that, you’re doing a great job. Keep it up!
I do agree with oak slightly about the professionalism aspect but I think as time goes on thats almost a learned skill especially if you've never really had a job that requires it if that makes sense (im not sure if you have but im just saying) but I'd like to double back on my previous statements as I believe thats important here I think its important to be able to know eco as well even if you dont play there so I think its vital for your own growth and you getting future support that you take some time spent on eco, Even if thats just asking questions and seeing what people need to know, I feel like this would benefit you as Im unsure if many eco players know you outside of general chat on discord! However that being said, Ive seen you more active in discord, I see you trying to help out anyone you can when you're on and you're so kind to everyone Emy! I really hope you take these things into consideration as I'd love to see you on the staff team sometime in the future Good luck Emy, Staff is a process and I feel like you got about half of it down, there's just more work to be done for sure! That being said, PLEASE dont let this discourage you, Staff applicants dont get accepted overnight and if you keep working towards this Im positive the community will see how far you've come and you'll get the support you're looking to see!
Hey Y'all! Wanted to add a bump and mention some of the things that I have done to try and improve myself! Eco Activity: This has been a slow process, but I am trying to get more into it! I recently joined a coop with a very experienced eco player and they have been showing me the ropes a bit! I have been exploring the mechanics, and will continue to do so, even if I may never be able to enjoy as much as I do survival! Discord Activity: I try and hop on disc and hold convos quite a few times a day! Since starting this post I have jumped about 8 levels in the server, and have been enjoying my time immensely! Forum Activity: While this is a bit harder to achieve, I do try to comment on new posts as I see them! Professionalism: This is definitely a learning curve because I need to actively pay attention to what I say, but I believe I have been improving! (correct me if I'm wrong please ) Community Engagement: Skyblock: Whenever I am not afk I try to engage in conversations with players through Skyblock! Economy: When chat is active on eco I do add a message here and there but I can definitely work on chatting more! Forums: In forums, I have started entering comps, adding heads, and commenting on player posts! Discord: I have tried to participate in qotds, join convos, along with participating in game nights when I'm available, (which are super fun btw!) In conclusion: I believe I have improved in the past few months since making the original post! Please correct me if I'm wrong, and continue to add constructive criticism! I want to be the best I can be! (P.S, I know this is long, so thanks for sticking it out!) (P.P.S, Doggos are both doing well! I even have a kitty now!)
I do not think there is any requirement saying an applicant must be active on eco, although, I agree with you AJ in this case as in the recent "update" they claim to be. But, I do not see an issue if you wanna main a specific server and you say that, most of the players only main one server and that is totally fine.
A decent chunk of the staff dont know how eco works. What help are you as a staff member if you cant help as many people as possible? Im not saying to main eco. Im trying to say that you should at least get yourself familiarized with the mechanics and players. If you want to bring up activity, we should point out that this applicant has played less than 3 hours in 3 month.
So as long as you're able to understand and become familiar with the differences of both servers (eco/sb), to formulate solutions and de-escalate different situations. I suppose, be more seen in eco/discord/forums by others and provide helpful services as much as possible. Granted you can main whichever server you'd like, but it's nice to know how both function. Other than that, stay active and work on the professionalism, over time it'll be easier. Now, I would love to see EmyDances8/Emy/WitchEmyDances become part of the team! It would be a nice sight. Goodluck! Personally, I don't touch Skyblock.net's discord other than announcements and tickets. Forums I only visit and give my awful input on special occasions. So I can see it being quite difficult to adapt to IMO. Wish everyone a good day, whatever day it is you read this.
Emy is so sweet and attentive, she is easy to get to know and talk to because she is so friendly. Not to mention making the effort to be online even with a ton of stuff going on irl which is extremely admirable. Her dedication is immense. Support.
i'm gonna be honest, i support this because emy is very helpful. though try to be on eco a lil more. not that ya have to.
