To the no supporters, mind explaining why you believe this shouldn't be implemented?

 

I don’t really think this would be necessary and could run into a lot of issues, like displaying inappropriate maps above player heads.

 

Would be cool however a mapart panel is differently shaped, would require more coding plug inside to function properly, do they display front and back? If not visible from the back then they would need additional coding to display as blank, and as trinity says, this could lead to inappropriate maparts being shown to other players.

I support the idea, however how thus could be workable would be the main questions

 

Funny you say because I don't see much of a difference from displaying inappropiate mapart above your head to displaying it on your island.

 

Same thing with trin, but I wonder how it could be implemented when it might be just showing the filled map item icon only instead of the actual map art?

 

It would require more coding, but not all that much. It would just be two item frames along with the usual armourstand.

 

Those are just as much of an issue as it would be displaying it above your head. Just because one person breaks the rules doesn’t mean it’s not an issue when it comes to other things. In all reality, your point favors in my side more, because if people can’t refrain from displaying inappropriate maparts on their islands, they won’t refrain from displaying them in the same way.

I still think there is a lot of other good, reasonable solutions like displaying your wanted maparts on your island or throwing players the mapart you wish to show off.

I think for such a little perk that has so many issues it’s not really worth it, it will cause more issues & problems that can be dealt with

 

I think this would be a very cool thing to implement but I worry that it might not be possible. I would love to see this though.

 

I honestly do think if the main issue is people displaying inappropriate things, then obviously staff can take action, it can fit under the inappropriate skins rule surely?

 

No support, not a big fan of everyone having access to something that creates 3 entities.

Skyblock tends to have 70-80 MAU (manually active users). Excluding green names who likely have insufficient funds, never knew this existed and alts, this leaves Skyblock with 50 concurrent players. Economy has just about 40 MAU excluding green names and alts. If it's like what AJZZ said, with each mapart consisting of 3 entities, that would be around 360 loaded entities if every player on both servers decided to do this. Heads up Caleb, this will never happen. Knock it down a few and it's what like 200 entities more at max? I am sure Noobcrew's servers can sustain this amount. And if they cannot, then of course this could be a feature added to specific ranks only which would promote more sales.

 

My comment wasn't really in relation to your original suggestion post. AJZZ was showing his concern for the extra entities, and I was expressing that people already have the access to make hundreds if not thousands of entities already so if anything, it was somewhat arguing for your side.
