With the update adding kits resetting at a fixed time everyday, I think an announcement along the lines of "Daily kits have been reset" would be nice, similar to how there is one for daily voting links being reset.
Don't they reset like an hour before server restart? Just make em reset after restart then there is no need for this message
Both my kit and vote at vote.skyblock.net are 15 and a half hours away so kit reset definitely coincides with vote1 reset. EST is currently not in effect because EDT is.
Doing the math for the kits right now, it's 5 am my time and the kits reset in 15 more hours. 12 hours from now would be 5 pm plus another 3 makes the kit resets at 8 pm. It might be at the same time as vote1 but it's at 8pm - which means the vote1 timing is outdated on the website. I didn't realize the time similarities until now, but it would still be nice to have an announcement for the kits resetting as there are multiple 24 hour kits, and seeing a "vote link has reset" doesn't remind people about their kits.
It is 8pm EDT which would be 7pm EST if EST was in play but it’s not. The website would have to update twice a year in order to be correct. When Daylight savings starts and when it ends.
kits have their own timers i thought , like skytitan is 24 hrs, god is 48 hrs etc from running the command ?
True, it is no longer from when the command is run however. Kit cooldowns now reset at a static (same) time every single day, so the 'kits have reset' message wouldn't apply to all donor ranks if announced every single day (if your rank has a 2 day cooldown for example) As an example, I can claim my skytitan kit say 10 minutes before the kit reset, and be able to claim the same kit again after the reset timer has passed. The kit is no longer an exact countdown from 24 hours when you last claimed the kit, but a 24 hour window from the time when kits reset daily to the next reset the following day. Having an announcement reminder daily would help for people to acquaint to the new cooldown system and remember to claim their kits as often as possible.
