Closed Allow ability to delete any mail (suggestion didn't get implemented)

lately I've been getting a lot of mail from my casino and from other skyblock players. Mail is useful for people who often use it to communicate with other players regarding trading, casino stuff and other things in general. Its useful to keep track of gift codes. I've had my old laptop to be reset back to factory settings due to a windows operating system issue after I fixed it and having to back it up wasn't the option I had at that time and I was forced to delete everything. Luckily I was able to retrieve a lot of codes from my mail. However people sometimes spam you with a bunch of sh** and it gets real annoying when you're trying to get to your mail you want. I think we should be able to delete mail messages that we deem as spam or really old. I can tell from my mail, I have some old messages I don't really need and others that are flat out just spam and annoying like this one

what are you thoughts on this? I think this would be really useful to implement as it can clean up people's mailboxes and make it easier to go through

also apparently it hasn't been implemented so uh actually implement it?

yeah I noticed that too. Its also a year old and its been a long time since the thread was closed.

this is more of a reminder to implement it actually and to not say implemented but actually not implement it

 

This actually is already a feature, unless I'm misunderstanding the request. It's not very well documented, and it's a bit tedious if you have a lot of mail, but you can do

Code:

/mail remove <message number>

and it'll be removed. As an example, this screenshot shows my mail before / after I did /mail remove 3

 

ah I see. But I feel like the mails should be numbered since you can potentially remove a mail you never meant to delete

 

Agreed for sure. If you have any more than like 3 mails, it becomes very stressful using that command because it doesn't ask for a confirm at all, it just removes it.
