ive only just got back into minecraft again a few weeks ago and ive been spending all my time on the classic server on my old island i started over 7 years ago, ive tried convincing friends i used to play with to join but with the server is so outdated now they would rather play minecraft elsewhere than join me on the island they helped me to build over 7 years ago, i had a friend try join who kept getting stuck on loading terrain and says was the same for his sister and it seams basically everyday new players are joining and then saying how everythings so buggy or laggy or they are asking how to use crate keys or if they even work everytime i ask what version they are using and most people are joining using 1.18 with no idea what the problem is, i have been doing some mob arena with /ma j and ive noticed health does no regenerate there so is even harder also i have won disguises multiple times (think i already get with donor) but the plugin is not active im guessing because i cannot use /d, today a person was asking if i could use his keys and give him the prizes because after explaining to him how to do it he still couldn't work it out, i won a rare key for him and then won the chicken disguise with that which i believe was like the 3rd time id won that, he then got no prize not that he would of if he had won it himself, also you cannot buy keys anymore from the donation store for classic. attached is a screenshot that shows i opened the chest for MannvD, i did actaully speak to a moderator who joined classic today who told me classic is no longer receiving updates, i hope this is not true as classic skyblock is my favourite and only server i play on and ive been waiting hoping that it will get fixed soon

 

Classic sb doesn't get any update since the new sb came out. It has more players and way less problems. You can type /skyblock in chat to go there. (idk If this is much help but gl)

 

I have played a little on the new skyblock but i didnt wanna loose my progress of over 7 years, i also just recently started building a trade store which has cost me a lot of time and grassblocks, i would love to see classic receive the same updates the new server gets and im sure many other people with start to play there again too, i found out yesterday other players can also destroy my item frames in my shop and kill my horse which cost me 10 diamonds

 

people are always struggling work out how to use the voter keys and the crates also work better at /warp tradeshop than they do at /warp crates u dont have to crouch to use the keys there and players who say they are on 1.18.1 can even use their keys there even though the server is 1.8 and only really supports up to 1.12.2.

i wish the server could be as updated as the new skyblock server but still the same with things like god items on classic, no ores on classic and other things that make classic and the new server different from each other.

 

just won a pig disguise which is real annoying i get the rare keys like ooh nice then i win pig disguise and its like wth i cant use it now

 

Most crate keys rewards suck, theirs a forums that was made for it to be updated. We're still waiting on it. It especially sucks when you get 10 pig disguises lol wish it could be sold or something smh.
