here is what I am suggesting basically when people irl trade the previous thing that was done was the items were voided. A common irl traded item is limited edision items like heads. I am curently trying to colect one of each head and its a pain becuase so many have been voided due to irl trades. What i am sugesting is that irl traded items be redistributed to the community. This rewards legal players like me and NS and punishes irl traders more harshly. I dont belive it would be too much work for staff as they could use the discord giveaway bot.

It's a good idea however, us regular members are not sure if it's a protocol or not to void any illegally traded items. Maybe a staff can let us know if this is possible or not and whether they'd agree to it or not.

If this can happen, support because there are a limited amount of heads distributed throughout drop parties and it'd be kinda sad if these heads get voided.

after a conversation with fran (thanks for clarification) while they arnt voided they are still taken out of the econmy which is my issue. They are kept in a chest.

my only issue is with the whole distribution idea, it may cause a lot of troubles and a sense of unfairness,, how do we know who gets to recieve what? and how would we know that players won't continue to abuse the idea and continue to conduct IRL trading because they know that either way the rares will still be placed back into the economy?

 

I think a way of keeping them out of the economy for a little whole maybe to prevent an continuous loop of IRL Trading, would be to confiscate them as it is being done right now, but reintroduce the items through Drop Parties

Whether it be the next Drop Party that is set to show (Say it's August and it happens so it would be Halloween one next) or introduce regular period drop parties of smaller sizes when multiple items have been confiscated from IRL trading.

I feel randomly dispersing them back in would be the only FAIR way to introduce them again

Great points players wont irl trade bc they will be banned and wont be able to get the head back and would have to pay for them again. as for distrubution Agents dicord giveways or a drop party would suffice to remove unfairness

they wouldnt be allowed to enter the dp or dicord giveaway

 

I was about to suggest that! The dropparty plugins looks like the only fair way to distribute the heads, but of course there’s not going to be a separate dropparty for that lol

 

That's understandable, but yes could be an extra thing added at the end of the closest Drop Party or if there's an excess amount of stuff piling up could be thrown out in Discord Giveaways to get them out quick if there's too much starting to get confiscated

I think the dropparty bot on discord is a great idea, but at the same time that may exclude people who aren't 13 years of age yet (discord TOS) but also there may be a minority that aren't discord users who would constantly check their servers if that make sense..

obviously they'd be banned but what i'm saying is it may still kinda 'encourage' a continuous loop of it like cal had mentioned.

 

Then go with the adding to the closest Drop Party option. Either way, you're never going to be able to have everyone on to have a chance to receive it doesn't matter if it's the server or discord, some people just talk on discord and don't go online often. To me either option is valid just depends on whatever the staff team feels most convenient and fair

 

as somone who has alot of rares should i irl trade ever (i dont plan to) it would aggrievate me much more to know someone else had them than for them to just be gone

 

hmm, i think i'll stay with neutral for now, kinda wanna see how others respond to this first : p but i definitely am leaning towards the idea of redistributing it, jus worried about some issues that may arise is all

I like the idea of redistribution into the community, but there are definitely kinks that would need to be worked out (as with any suggestion). Agent's bot is a great idea since a separate drop party seems to be out of the question. These items were created to go into the community and currently are just in limbo so, i'm gonna support, I would like to point out this would be a great idea on eco too.
