This came to my mind literally after posting my other suggestion lmao
But we should be able to see who viewed your thread by just hovering over the number when you go to the forums part with all the other ones and it will pop up, or well you just click it which would be better for the ones that use forums on their phone

    Thanks for reading, bye :D

Edit 4 hours later: There could also be a toggle button for this somewhere where you can choose if whenever you go on a thread and your name won't be seen (i think i saw someone reply with something like this)

    I'm neutral for now.

I feel like this is kinda unnecessary and although it would be a cool feature to have, it could also cause potential issues between players. In general some people may also prefer to just silently read threads without wanting the whole world knowing what they are up to. I feel like this is kinda invasive? maybe

Gonna change to neutral myself, after reading eunice’s response, I can see how this may be quite invasive as some players may just wish to view threads without being noticed.

Although it could be a useful implementation, I do also believe it would likely cause some issues as eunice also stated. It has its pros and cons so I’ll be going neutral.

    This.

As nice as it would be to see a list of people viewing your thread, it becomes very invasive at this point

    1. It would be a VERY long list as many people view threads and don't reply
    2. Now it becomes a privacy issue and everyone will know what you're viewing (This could be fixed by making it only accessible to the Thread Owner but then it's still invasive just not to the masses)
    3. There isn't really a logical or useful reason to implement this other than personal satisfaction/interest

Agree, only if there's a toggle added at the top of every page to disable it (so the viewer is not shown in the list) once in a while.

I am not supporting. I feel like this will invade peoples privacy. This is also not really neccesary, and will not change the forum in any real ways.

People will feel pressured to reply if they know they have been seen viewing the thread (e.g moderator on ban appeal

I'm going to leave a No support to this idea.
It does have really good intentions , one could be to see if your thread is gathering traction or is doing well, which would be a good reason for the feature to exist, but with the criticism above my current post I cant see this being a feature im happy with.
Calidre summed up a lot of the problems behind this idea already, I agree with all of these stated.

The idea of just wanting to read a thread without contributing to it is something I PERSONALLY enjoy doing, I don't need to give my words of advice or opinion in every single thing the forums releases, sometimes if I feel like I can give something worthy to the thread, ill expand upon the topic in that thread.

This breach of privacy style system would quite honestly Pressure me into a reply, Just like ca1 stated above this post, that's not something I want to feel inclined to do.

overall the idea is great! but the flaws outweigh the positives to me, so im not supportive of the idea, present counters to some of these problems like an optional ghost mode where you CAN roam the forums in peace, and I might switch to Neutral.

I don't think this is something that should be added. I don't like the idea of seeing who viewed which thread as it's something I think should remain private. Honestly I think the same about profile views but I don't think that is as big of a deal.

It's definitely possible (not sure about the toggle feature though). But I don't see it fitting into our model on Skyblock where people are more reserved in what they do. It could also look tacky in some locations of the forums where there are threads that receive high view counts, and it probably would not work properly or at its peak functionality on our forums. It's a great idea, but there are always people who wish their activity not to be revealed etc.
