To put it into context I have been playing on skyblocks for the last 6 months, purchasing Skyknight rank. However recently I received a 40 day ban, which in my opinion is unfair. Recently I was scammed of £10, this was on a different server and angered me. I decided to come onto Sky block in the hours following the scam, informing a few other players of what had happened to me and saying that the other server was poorly staffed. During my moan, I mentioned the other server by name which I apologise sincerely for. But my question is having already endured approx 5 days of my ban, is a 40 day ban really adequate when considering the context of this situation?

Alright, seeing I am hoezo, I will be handling your appeal today- firstly thank you for appealing There was a report made involving you advertising another server, which is strictly prohibited and it can lead to consequences like a standard 31 day ban (which yours was). I will attach the image below: Is there any reason you thought mentioning/advertising another server would be acceptable? If you were having issues with the other server, then why not create a report or let a member of their community handle it? Instead you come on here and moan, which did not help the situation at all. I understand your frustrations and anger, however I do not think this was the best way to go about it.
Aight, with that situation I was investigating the server since I had heard issues regarding hacking etc on the internet. I haven’t joined that server.
Plus surely if the 31 day ban was installed, it should have started on the date at which I made the comment which was certainly not yesterday...
So there are two different occasions this has happened? Would you enlighten me on what happened in both situations? We have been a busy team recently, I only picked up on this report and noticed yesterday- I apologise for the delay, but it still happened.
Regardless of when it was picked up surely the matter still stands. The ban was installed too late. The incident regarding the one responsible for the ban was I heard that 2b2t has had major issues w hacking and scamming, therefore enquired w no intention of joining The Second incident regarding me being scammed was on MCcentral.
Surely it was not too late as the report was made 4 days ago, if we let people go because their ban was 4 days late received then we would not be very professional- you still did something that was against our rules at the end of the day. You publicly addressed an IP to the whole server- which to me, comes across as intentional. As you have stated that: I'm going to ask you to read them thoroughly here and understand our expectations fully Also explaining in your words what they are as well, after this I will see if you understand the consequences.
I just want to play the server, having purchased a rank. This is the first time I have committed an offence and It was completely unintentional, it wasn’t like I was purposely promoting the server as demonstrated by the two responses I received telling me that 2b2t is just a massive hacking/scamming platform. A 31 day ban seems harsh surely? Considering it’s a first time..
If you thoroughly read the rules and write them out in your own words, I’ll consider unbanning you. I need to be 100% certain that I won’t see you in the appeal section again, unbanning you just as a “first time offence” would make it more likely that you’d be here again in the future. You need to be aware that we have rules that need to be followed.
Geo I have read through the rules in detail again, analysing them. I see where I went wrong and I am sure it won’t happen again.
