Earlier the server crashed and I accidentally placed my friend's snowglobe dp head from last Christmas. I was wondering if anything can be done about this considering it was due to the server lag and eventual crash? I tried to just buy him another one to make up for it, but no one is selling them. It was _iAlex's dp head, and I attached a photo to show where it was placed. Thank you.
Not necessarily. If it can be proved that the head was accidentally placed due to a server glitch, it is possible to retrieve it I wish you the best of luck, Pink
So are no moderators going to help? the server crashes 200000 times everyday. Pink and I shouldn't be responsible for something that happened because of the servers crazy lag and eventual crash. Is it even possible to prove something like that? I don't think anyone records their game 24/7 so a recording is out of the question here. How else could it be proven? Thanks.
The server really doesn’t crash that often. I’ve never experienced it even crashing more than once in a day. And you are right, you shouldn’t be responsible, but that’s why this thread is here. It’ll all be good in the long run
I'm pretty sure the server crashed at least 2 times, but it was definitely unresponsive multiple times according to my client. Server crashes are very annoying when they happen even if they occur once or twice a day. Pink and I just got it the worst out of everyone else I guess. Should've never happened. Very true.
I know the feeling, I placed 3 shuckers of grass then the server crashed. Once I came back they were gone, thankfully mat t got them back. Maybe he can help with this?
Realistically speaking, there was no reason for you to attempt to place the head under any circumstances, even if the server lagged. You could've placed it thinking it was fine to do, then coming up with this idea to blame the server. You should not have tried at any time to place the head on the floor, I simply cannot remember a time when the server was lagging that I'd go round placing blocks // placing heads.
How does it suddenly place unless she placed it? If the server goes down it doesn't just place the blocks in your inv?
I placed it, it did not just magically place itself, but I was not intending to place it (also why would I purposefully place a dp head that is not mine? I am also not new to the server, and I know that once they are placed they lose the lore.) Along with that, if I meant to place the dp head I wouldn't be trying to get it back? I don't quite understand the argument you are trying to make. The whole point of me trying to fix it is because it was not my DP head, I wouldn't care if it was one of mine, however, this one is not mine, and Alex would very much like to have it back. I meant to place another block in my inventory, and because of the lag, my inventory was glitchy and the head was placed instead.
