Slys introduction (just pretend its 2012 we alg)

Hello!

Many of you may know me as an economy player who talks in global and collects rare items, a few of you might know me more than that and some people wont know me at all, so I am here now to introduce myself correctly! by writing a 420 page essay about my life story LOL.

But in all seriousness this is my introduction to skyblocks forums correctly.

I'm currently an 18 Yr, male from the United Kingdom (northeast gang rise )
I'm studying in college in a game design course, I aim to become a world generation designer or weapon view model animation designer for Activision studios for my "main" career path, although I wouldn't be concerned if my skills would be put to use in ANY of the roles studios have in the games industry.

This is my second year studying at college, with my grade in my first year being as high as I could get! (distinction for the UK homies that know what that means) and I'm really enjoying my time!.

as for my in game / online personality (hey guys ) I'm slybudda! I'm a /economy main who has been around the skyblock community since 2012 (but I've only been around full time since august 2019, hence why my forums account was made on the 12th 2019) and ive grown up with some of you through this 8 year time period.

*When I'm not on skyblock I'm most likely playing Call Of Duty with my IRL homies
I've been a cod player almost as long as a skyblock community member so both games are important to me we are waiting for the new game to come out in a months time as of making this post. (Edited paragraph post)

When growing up I have always been a fan of games and other tech, it always peaked my interests and I wanted to have the concept as my career, The first ever video game I played was Crash Bandicoot 2, My dad used to play this when he was my age * (Edited paragraph post)

One of the most amazing things I've ever experienced in my time is the wonderful community I've had by my side through my whole journey to writing this post, you guys have really made the game what it is

I spent my first year collecting all of economys rare items, and I collected staff signatures as a hobby! (it grew into a serious museum to appreciate the staff team) at this point I was a very shy and worried person who hadn't become part of a community this large in the past, especially to the size and effort ive tried to hold my profile together too.

I intend to spend the next year building upon my own character development, whilst also chatting and playing the game with you all! with me trying to get into the skyblock discord full time, and getting into /skyblock to a larger extent too, I aim to fully expand my activity in the forums and look forward to you guys being by my side for the journey.

I love you all, and wouldn't trade you guys for any rare in the market

I didn’t know you’d been around since 2012? I was very active from 2012-2016 and didn’t see you but it’s nice to know there’s some older players still around

 

Yea I was floatin around skyblock with my homies back in 2012, but I was super shy and I never actually spoke in chat back then, I've been part of this community since 2012 but I never drew attention to myself at all till 2019 when I felt old enough and confident enough to do so.
