Decrease forum name length requirement.

    Short suggestion here.
    People like Lw55 had to have their names have 4 characters while their in game name has 3.

    It would be nice for this to be lowered so people with 3 letter names can match their forums account names with their in game names.

    bing bong suggestion done

    Lw5 cant vote support, so assume there is one more support than visible

    tis a small suggestion, but something that i can see being appreciated all around for people who only want three letters. i think this is a great suggestion to support

    Yeah for sure support. My name was changed to a three letter name, I think everyone should have the chance to do the same.

    I’d like this suggestion, my name being Geo— it’d benefit a lot from this.

    But I spoke with Kera a couple of weeks ago and found out that allowing three lettered names to make a return, would actually mess up a lot of the forums functions.

    So I will keep with neutral for now

    How would three-letter names mess up forums functions? If that is the case, then how are so many people able to keep 3 letter names? (Fun, Sam, Lz (banned) and Mai to name a few)


    also I don't see a neutral rating :>

    I think there is only a small group with three lettered names so it won't do much. If everyone was allowed to then maybe thats when things might get messy.
    Im neutral because I don't mind if three letter names were a thing however i'm mindful that if it is actually something that will cause an issue then ofc I don't really want that.

    As Krissy said if everyone had three lettered names it might get a bit messy etc.

    So I'm going with netural.

    Also correct me if I'm wrong, but after you have registered your account I'm pretty sure that if you go to the "username change" tab (as seen in the thread below) you are able to request for a shorter name as long as it's appropriate.

    My reason for changing to neutral is the exact reason to what eunice said. It’s not very hard to put a name change request and you can put the reason to being my name is 3 letters. Then it can be looked at and be approved/denied. So I’m neutral and also because of what Geoo said as well. :)

    I have decreased the number upon registration characters to 3 letters, however I will be keeping a close eye and seeing whether we can keep this or if it'll have to be increased to 4 characters again. Please let me know if you want your name changed to 3 letters currently as I am not sure if the User Name Change add-on has accommodated this new addition.
