Hello so the basics of my issue that I have here, is that I have a friend [littlegirl566] who accidentally activated hardcore mode on her island, and we want to deactivate it but we cant. are any staff members capable of helping out here? if possible please come onto economy and contact me [slybudda] with help you if you can! p.s I was told by southwark that mods cant help with this and that I should Kerahna for help with this one so that is who i'm hoping responds to my thread here, thanks in advance sly.

Unfortunately hardcore mode can't be turned off once an island is created. The only way is to die and restart the island. I think she might be able to transfer any valuable items to you for you to hold, so she can reset the island without losing too much. Just don't transfer any illegal to trade starter items, like dirt!
Thanks for the reply we can just try to be careful from now on, and make sure that all storage is safe on my island so it doesn't get lost. you might as well close the thread now since it being up doesn't matter now. thanks again sly.
