If you are looking for a board game, settlers of catan provides some great strategy while not being too long, like monopoly.
If you are looking for a sandbox video game, terraria will have a new update coming out in may, giving it creative mode. While it is 2d, it has SOO much more content than minecraft.
If you are looking for a video game classic, Super Mario World on the SNES is just amazing.
If you are looking for a mobile game, PVZ or BTD5 are fun and amazing games, you can also do PVZ2 as well

I'm an old school gamer, I've always been into the classics, Gta San Andreas is one of my all time favorites, but I also enjoy all the old valve games, Half Life, Team Fortress Classic, Day of Defeat, cs source. If you haven't played any old games like this you oughta give it a try! They're also much cheaper than the new games that come out these days.

 

Right imma install minecraft on a windows computer because my linux one likes crashing . And SMW is AMAZING also the world record is like 44 secs or something .

 

It's hard for me to say, one moment I'm into towny types of games such as Animal Crossing, and then the next moment I'm addicted to FPS. All I know is that Minecraft was around for a good ten years and its still enjoyable till now. Playing games like this give me an old vibe and a sensation of "saudade" and rememberance. Anyone can relate?

Togpuss I heard of the game Forza Horizon as I'm into cars alot, however I do not really play computer games. I visit the game arcade often though, I am a world record holder for the time attacks on Mt. Taikan and Kobe in Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 6
