I wonder if people would support the idea of being able to disable teleportation (by other people) on your island , through /settings. This would only apply to visitors.
One example is for being able to have restricted areas around your island that players can only access for a fee. It helps, and I don't believe that this suggestion will have any negative impact.
how would the fee be implemented? If so where does the fee go to? To you? Or to the server? t Back on the idea, I don't really mind this happening. However if players are going to utilize this setting they should be aware that if any event is happening, this would restrict certain people from attending because either they are having a hard time finding the location or don't have access to fly. neutral
Neutral it’s just like being able to disable fly on your island, it’s a paid perk also you can just book the guests that aren’t invited
I'm sure the ability to toggle it is something island owners can utilise it effectively for events similar to that. As for fees, that's just using redstone, and it's only an example.
Teleporting is a free perk. That is not the same as disabling fly. Guest banning isn't reliable enough, as you don't always know who is teleporting who. It's a general prevention for miscellanious things that an island owner wouldn't like (in my example accessing restricted areas). Players can fill in for themselves what miscellanious thing this /settings option could be useful for. Again, I don't believe this option is at all harmful.
Conditional support - would like a blacklist/whitelist option, where certain players can be added or excluded from the teleportation blockage list.
I guess you could /lock and then /guest add the person you want to come, and he can't tp anyone to your island. So thats pretty cool
The suggestion of the thread is directed to visitors. Guest adding someone is rather directed to players you know.
