Simple suggestion. sandstone should be able to be put into the crafting table for 4 sand in return. Stairs could be two stairs = one sandstone two slabs could also make one sandstone which could then be converted into sand. good for people who accidentally make too much sandstone.
I think this would be a little overpowered since quite a few people sell sandstone, and it would be an easy way to get sand in an already controversial sand economy :/ I'm staying neutral for this.
I would say that this is something to consider when a decision is make about Southwark's suggestion. I'm not in opposition of this suggestion, I'd quite like to have sand, it's just a bit of an odd situation at the moment with everything else regarding sand.
The entire sand economy needs to be updated. I would not mind if this was added - but why 2 stairs for only 1 sandstone? I feel like 1 stair = 1 sandstone is a more fair deal.
if sand can be crafted into sandstone, then crafted back into sand it completely goes against disallowing island farming. It's even worse if you suggested this for something like coarse dirt or mycelium.
I feel like this feature wouldn’t be used a lot other than for non-illegal sand trading. Also, if this was added, it could be debated that stone bricks should be crafted into stone. Going to have to go no support.
Not too keen on this being applied to regular sandstone. But this would be nice for red sandstone due to it being a drop in Mob Arena. Neutral
No Support, It would create more illegal trading and they would make a new rule "Sandstone trading is not allowed"
I support the recipe for sandstone to be turned back into sand. Like stated above, red sandstone can be won in arena and would have greater use if you could de craft it. I don’t know about the whole stair ratios, but in favor of the sandstone to sand one
