Hello, some of you are very smart. I was wondering, what is the best browser? I use Chrome because I've got used to it, but I am aware that it is not the best browser. Please take speed, RAM usage, etc into account. Thanks!
Don’t think so, I use it too but I think it exists better we might think it’s best cause how used we are to it
Vivaldi is probably my favorite. It's basically a super customizable blink (Chrome) based browser. After that, Opera is really nice. Comes with a free built-in VPN. TBH, I probably use Chrome the most. Firefox is good, but I rarely use it. I used to install basically every chromium based browser, but after SRWare Iron and Torch had some privacy issues, I stopped doing that. Lol Edit: To anyone interested in finding some new browsers, check out the Wikipedia Comparison of Web Browsers page. Personally, I recommend sorting the table by "current layout engine". Blink is basically what Google Chrome uses. It's technically built on WebKit engine, but the difference between Blink and Webkit is pretty substantial. (For example, Safari is built on WebKit) Gecko is going to be Firefox-based browsers. And Trident is going to be Internet Explorer based browsers. (You'll notice that some browsers have multiple layout engines. Often times it'll let you switch between them. This is mostly useful for web development) Before installing any of these browsers, I'd recommend doing some googling for privacy issues, because more than one of the companies behind these browsers has been involved in shady business.
Brave Browser Vivaldi Browser And use DuckDuckGo. Personally suggest Brave. Hardly differs from Chrome, except where it matters
edited: Deleted a lot of stuff seeing as it was incorrect and some browsers here are better than jesus but of course, I mainly use Chrome because passwords and cache and autologins and stuff
I've been on brave for a few months or so. "Made" $20 of BAT so far, but having to verify the wallet with photo ID and all that jazz, not even gonna bother. I want my crypto no-name attached like it should be. Still a quick browser with good adblock built-in, and the ads for earning BAT can be disabled. edit: Maybe it's because I have 3/4 years worth of data on my firefox, but it's pretty garbo going back to it. So slow, crashes easily, and after all add-ons had some out of date issue a while back and it took days for FireFox to care to fix it it really shows how they got lazy.
Not gonna lie the best Browser has to be Bowser from the latest Super Mario Odyssey! His go gettem attitude where he completely stomps Mario in the beginning of the game and manages to take over multiple kingdoms and even the bloody moon! He is definitely in top form in that game and I think it's an amazing step for the scaly fiend in future instalments of the franchise. Close second would be Bowsers inside story. He literally eats his rivals.
To be honest, I've noticed after time Chrome tends to have unnecessary cpu and ram usage, it's always been my go to browser but probably going to give Brave a try.
I think you'll like the the 100% Ad Blocking. Personally have blocked over 430.000 "ads and trackers" over the years
