Hey everyone, I've come to a decision and im going to go trough with it, im going to start a new island. However my old island will still exist, I will be moving all the spawners (yes, even the auto egg farm spawners) to my new island so I can make a more efficient public auto farm area, however my focus will no longer be building a fancy smancy massive island, it will be leaning more towards the old way of skyblock. Skincomps and events. Of course the old island has allot of things that are going to need to be moved over, but then comes the question, what do I do with the old island? All that progress is still there and I don't want to just chuck it into the dumpster, so I've decided to sell it. Make note, the rares will all be moved over, the auto farms will stay however the droppers from the mob farms will be moved. I am going to be taking any valuable things from my locked chests as well (sentimental or otherwise) but you keep whats still there. There is a 99x99 Cocoa farm and a mostly complete 99x99 Chorus farm as well. The massive sugarcane auto farm, massive cactus farm, and massive melon farm are there as well, and there is a well built area for an auto mob farm that has the perfect dimensions for an auto collection area. Of course since I wont be managing the island any more its up to the new owner if they want to keep the areas public or not. My wish would be that they do but I wouldn't be in control of it. Of course all the grass I placed cannot be transferred to my new island, so thats there as well. The island is almost at the top 20 as well, and no leveling blocks are placed (and what little gold is placed im removing to make fireworks). Well, I think I've gone on long enough, might add more to this in the future but who knows. I plan on doing this in the near future, but like I said, I would like someone willing to keep the island public use (as that was its intended purpose) so I won't be selling it to just any random either. I also have no clue as to what I want to sell the island at, I'll make a thread at a future time.
Sometimes we just need to restart so we can move away from the massive industrial farms and in back to the plain, simple stuff so we can enjoy the wonders of sky block again.
^ Yeah, as much as I love the island (almost 200 hours into it) Its grown... stale? I need a new look, on the old server I made a massive castle, on the new server I made a castle with a town and lots o lil secrets. Now I just wanna build a humble shack and entertain people.
After a recent discussion it seems I am allowed to move the dirt and stuff to my new island, so thats not in the deal anymore, sorry.
It's Skyblock not economy, and yeah, double postings can be considered post farming, I know :3 And yes, im keeping my valuables
