Title sums it up. We had this feature in classic, would be nice to bring it to survival.

This may reduce the amount of spawners for farming snow which would improve the lag. Let me know what you think

 

Why not make snowmen spawn whenever you have a Snow biome and mobs allowed in settings?

 

I agree we could also add different bioms for different mobs
