Why do YOU think you were banned?

I believe I was banned for going through Audibility's chests, taking stuff out of the chests, and keeping it.

Was this an incorrect ban?

To my understanding, I believe this is an incorrect ban. I was talking to Audibility on the Skyblock General Chat Discord via voice chat at the time. He specifically told me I could take items from the chests. The only way I could of accessed his chests is if I was trusted on his island. He had me as a trusted player on his island so that I could access the chests.

Were you ever banned before on SkyBlock? If so, what for?

I have not been banned on the server before. If I'm being honest the only thing I've gotten as a punishment is a warning for chat bypass.

Why do you think you should be unbanned?

I believe I should be unbanned because only one side of the story is being heard. It bothers me that Audibility literally reported me for taking his items (which I got permission to take,) a couple days AFTER he said I could take them. Why didn't he report this sooner? Because he knows he told me I could take the items, and wanted to wait to report me. It's not like he didn't notice the stuff was missing over the past few days. But he reports me today for some reason.

I hope this ban appeal is considered. Thank you to everyone who reads it please leave your support and opinion. I apologize for for the complaints above, but I had to let the truth out.

Thank you for appealing, Tweaking, I appreciate the level of frankness. I see you have quite a different side of the story to Audibility.

The player was pretty keen on having his items back, claiming that he’d noticed things go missing and was intrigued to find where they went. Initially, the investigation started with 2 sponges, and then on to the other 4 pages of chest modifications within a short time period.

I’ll speak to Audibility and see if he knows any more about this. In the meantime, do you still have the items or at least some of the items you took?

 

I believe I still have some of the items in my possession, and I would be more than willing to return them to Audibility. I remember mostly all of the items that I had in my possession that were originally Audibility's. If I am returning the items I should have no problem recalling what was grabbed.

 

I have spoken to Audibility, who returns a differing opinion to you regarding whether you were allowed to take the items.

Excellent! I will lift your ban later in order for you to gather the items. It will be posted on this thread at the point that I do so.

However, please be aware that won’t be the end of the appeal - if you successfully return the items then your ban length will be significantly shorter. If you fail to do so, the ban length may increase. Is this clear?

I have unbanned you now, you have until 10PM GMT (roughly 12 hours) to place all the items in a chest near your island spawn. I would prefer if you could clearly label the chest by adding a lockette with your IGN and mine on a line below.

I will check back later and come to a judgement when the allotted time has past, or perhaps before. Please be aware this is completely on trust, if I find evidence of you interacting with blocks outside of your main task, that may affect what happens next.

I've noticed you haven't been in-game yet, and I understand timezones make things hard, so I won't be too difficult about it. The same terms apply as in the above message.

 

Alright I've placed a shulker box by my spawn point with my the items, I did leave my island to buy some glass, because I knew there was some glass I grabbed from his island. You are added to the lockette sign.

A super mod has transferred the items to Audibility, you will find the shulker still on your island - but the items have been moved.
