I came online about half an hour ago and I wanted to join the skyblock server and it says I'm banned for Major Looting/Griefing, now the only person I can think of who may thought I was griefing is DeathBySora. But I absolutely didn't grief him. If I would grief him, I would take all of his golden blocks, or his grass, or the beacons. If I'm correct I only took some wool, Maybe some dye and around 20 end stone. I did that because I worked there, and I thought, because those were the only not-privated chests, I could have some as a bonus. Because I got a book which says, after every load you can take a bonus. And for end stone I already said it was an accident and he said OK. For the lapis I put a sign in my house on his Island that I took it and if it wasn't OK then I'll give it back. And the wool I took which maybe wasn't that nice.

I think it was a misunderstanding, I'm not gonna lie I did take some wool, some dyes & a little endstone but I thought it was a bonus because I worked there, and I got a book when I started that there were bonusses I could take and about the endstone we already talked that it wasn't my intention and that he didn't need it so I could keep it, and for the dyes I put a sign in his house that I took them, and if he's not OK with it I will give them back but I really needed it. But I totally see that I wasn't good in this one because I shouldn't have taken his wool and dyes and I am sorry.
7. Yes I have, that was for griefing I believe. But I did learn from that, and I thought that what I did recently wasn't stealing, because if my intention was to steal things, I would've taken his gold blocks / beacons etc.
8. I think I should be unbanned, because now I know what to do and what comes over wrong. I am so sorry, I will be more careful in the future.

And if he really wants his wool back I would buy him his 5 stacks wool.

Thank you for admitting this - was there anything else you took?

I've spoken to Sora about these bonuses, and that is in no-way a justification for your actions. The books laying out your task were clear about what would be rewarded without your need for digging in the chests yourself.

"Really needing" something is not a justification to just take it and use it because you have it available to you. Even if you did place a sign, unless you open up a PM or /mail thread you give the other player an opportunity to respond with an appropriate answer - either yes or no. A sign does not allow that.

Again, the endstone was mentioned when I spoke to Sora, but it doesn't appear that they allowed you to keep it after looting it. Do you have any screenshots or such that would prove my statement incorrect and indeed back up your own point?

Quite right. This isn't your first time - in fact you've been banned for this offence repeatedly. This leads me to believe you haven't learnt from it, as you're back in this situation of appealing...

Removing items from the chest is still stealing if it's without permission! Regardless, although minor there is evidence of lower parts of the island being broken, not just looting of the chests, so this statement doesn't hold true. There is no exception of the rules just because what you stole wasn't a gold block or beacon.

Well, then I have to apologize. But I have gotta say; I have only got the chance to look in the book once, so I wasn't 100% sure what the bonus was, which of course wasn't smart of me. I had to ask it first.

I can't deny that that was not polite of me, I had to ask it first and I'm sorry. I will change it in the future.

I don't have screenshots, but I hope Sora can be fair, that when I was there, we had a conversation, he said to me 'I don't need the endstone'. So he didn't want the endstone back.

I know I have been stupid these 2 days, but please trust me, I have changed now. I know it's quite hard to believe, but if you give me one last chance I will show you that I will never ever get a correct ban again.

You're right, maybe I thought Sora and I were too close, closer than it was. I thought we could share some blocks (of course not expsensive blocks). I want to say sorry to Sora and I hope he can forgive me.

Now let's readdress this:

So since the date of around the 29th of October you don't recall taking a total of 532 purpur blocks and placing them on MetteMarit's island? Not to mention a further 304 gravel, 254 ice blocks & 192 netherrack amongst a varying amount of other additional items?

Those "some dyes" was a combined total of 2651. That is far from "some".

 

I'm quite sure I gave all the gravel back, you can check my Island of course, but you won't find gravel.
The ice blocks I gave back I'm pretty sure & the netherrack I took indeed, and I will give them back and apologize for it.

Well I would like to start that MetteMarit has totally nothing to do with this, and the purple blocks I stole which I don't really remember but if you say so I believe you, I didn't place them on MetteMarit's Island because I still see us buying all those blocks. I don't think any of the blocks on MetteMarit's Island are from Sora's Island except for the endstone but I was allowed to keep that.

That is probably because I'm from the Netherlands so I don't speak English naturally.
And about the dyes I had to restore them once so that may be the reason why it says I took them & as I said before I did took dye.

This would be the best course of action.

Sadly by storing the stolen blocks on their island, it involves them in the incident as well, although not to the same extent, as it looks like a collaboration.

Unfortunately that's not what the logs show.

Well I honestly don't know what had happened, if it says I stole it, I don't have the right to speak against it. but I will buy/get him new purple blocks and ice of course.

I appreciate your effort in appealing, and the level of frankness you have provided in this appeal. With all things considered I will shorten your ban time by half, so you will be unbanned in 6 days time.

Regardless, it has to be considered the fact that you are a repeat offender and that it was quite a large loot. I'd like you to use the following 6 days to consider how you can prevent instances like this in the future and how you would feel if you were the player who had been looted.

And I don't want to be rude or anything like that but it still says 12 days, I'm not familiar with how long it takes to change, but I just wanted to mention.
