the reason is explained in the title, what are your thoughts?
When a player is first muted, they can still message mods.
After they consistently spam mods and annoy them, mods can do some sort of command, maybe /modmute [Player] so that the player who annoys them can't message staff anymore.

    Neutral,

Muted People might annoy the moderators asking for a unmute or something like that.

    I'm not sure though.

Maybe instead of that /modmute command idea it could just be that if the moderator tells you to stop and you don't then it's a temp ban. I'm neutral with this idea.

Most mutes for first time offenders range from 10-15 minutes. I think it’s fine to have people not be able to message. They can still /mail

Mutes actually don’t occur that often and most of the mutes are for people who know what they are doing and don’t stop after a warning. So they can survive without message for a short while.

I agree with Krissy and I think it’s unnecessary to add this. I don’t see people being muted a lot or for long periods. I do see a lot of warnings though.

    Neutral.

Players are muted for good reason, and their mute time rarely exceed 15-20 minutes at a time. If there’s really a problem, people can /tpa request to get our attention or /mail.

I mean this is coming from the person who was muted for like five days but I support it if it’s on long periods of time
like let’s say I go out and get muted again for like 20 minutes, I wouldn’t get the message.. but if I get muted for 5 days again for example, then yes, I would, because it’s a long period of time.

if people just abuse and spam them after they've been muted, then just tempban them.

    thats great
ah thats true, but its more simple and efficient using messages.
mods could temp ban them if they spammed them.
Well, thats pretty true, but a lot of mods have /tpa toggled, and as i said earlier with krissy, its more efficient and simple to use /msg or /pm
    Yeah.
    yeah i agree

Hm, I'm neutral on this. I can see where you're coming from but I'm not sure how necessary it is and most mutes are only for a short period of time, so not being able to message a mod for 10-20 minutes isn't too big of a deal.

I would just like to add on to this:

I'm currently serving a 1 month mute (to prove I can come back into the community) with about 14 days left of it and I've been having trouble with a player harassing me and I tried to get in contact with a moderator but I couldn't because I an muted AND I tried to teleport a moderator to me so I could use signs but most mods have their teleportation disabled. This would've been a big help for this situation because I had to message moderators on other social platforms and it was still difficult to get a hold of them. In the end, I didn't get any help.

As Kris's said, they can mail, I don't think this would be necessary for a short mute, but for a long term mute, /mail would be a good thing tho.

this is mainly for the people who are on long mute trials, but i understand your reasoning.
yeah. Can I ask if /mail helped you?
like I said, /msg is a lot more simple and effective. New players who somehow get muted for a long period of time won't know how to /mail, since there is nowhere that tells you about it. (idk if its in /warp tutorials, but not much new players look there anyways)
Yeah, i got the idea for this suggestion off of Monster
Yeah. Sometimes, mods dont even have tpa on as well ;t

With situations like Fatal's, I feel this would be a great addition. If this was a permission that was given to players with a mute over a day, I'd like it.
We can always ban the player if they continue to abuse this permission.

Neutral, because then again it is their fault for being muted. We don't hand out mutes because we feel like it, or because we hate the player, we hand them out because players have repeated an offence 3 times in a short period of time. I just feel like this will clearly be abused, with people spamming staff to be unmuted. I wouldn't support this unless it was for a 3 day or above mute.

I dont think this needs to be added, if you have been muted you obviously have done something wrong and have been warned for it.
If i tell my kids off at home they also don't get to negotiate, I feel like this is the same thing ;)
