Emerald's Re-Application

i don't p l a y on the server anymore. i've been on forums. and pretty sure i can have an opinion if i want to. half those pages are bumps op made, and i've seen plenty of the applicant's behavior on forums to form an opinion. :')

i’m going to be honest, i seem to have lost track of time. my experience with him appeared to me just a few months back but it seems to have been longer than that. my bad. i’ll leave my support status as neutral.

Still neutral. I've been on more this week but haven't seen you. I don't know if its because you play in the morning hours, which in that case isn't possible for me because I'm in a summer program at my community college from 8 45 am PST to 11 PST. I come home late due to public transit delays so I can't play in the mornings (with the exception of Friday). I'm on during the afternoon, late afternoon hours (PST) fyi

 

Thanks for your support status c: I'm usually playing either really late or really early in the morning due to it being summer, once school starts it will be the hours that go by in the application.

 

I've stated numerous times I am improving my activity but currently I am/have been working on something that will not take that longer to finish, my activity should resume in around 1 or two more weeks

 

My activity should be improving now as I have a lot more free time so I should be on the server a lot more. Thanks everyone for their feedback c:

I decided to wait a while before opening this application back up. I feel though as I've learned from everything in the past and I'm ready to move forward. I've been a Discord Moderator for 2 weeks now and have learned everything about my role/position and I've been hearing I have been doing a great job. I'm always looking to improve, so waiting a while before re-applying and to show the staff team how I work as a Discord Moderator was a great experience. I am still a Discord Moderator, although I feel though I am ready to re-apply.

I have not been active lately. As I can tell now, the project I was working on was warp info which took me and the staff members a few months to build and to put in all the information and such. Kudos to them, but I am ready to bring my activity back up. My activity was poor while I was applying, but I was also working on the warp if I wasn't doing anything else, and that was my top priority. I will definitely improve on my activity and I hope I can show that I am ready to refill my position for moderator.

 

Hey Emerald,

I feel it would be inappropriate for me to give or not give support, as I am currently and applicant for the Helper position. I would, however like to say a few things.

As far as your activity goes, I haven’t seen it as too much of an issue, since I knew you were working on the warp, and you were always on the Discord, helping out.

What I wanted to talk about most, was your maturity and willingness to stand up for what you believe. Before you became a Discord mod, you seemed to talk/do a lot of the things on there, which I, personally, believe are not helping the server grow. Despite what some may say, it is openly and actively advertised by the server, as the server’s official Discord. So, the difference in rules there, is somewhat unsettling. But, that is for another time. What I’m getting at, is that though most of the kids gets were being crude and inappropriate, you, for the most part, were more respectable, and mature. After you become a Discord mod, you only improved more. Your maturity increased greatly, and made you a mod I could trust. You don’t conform to what everyone else is doing, and will speak out on what you have an issue with, and are not afraid to stand up for what you believe in, even though others don’t give it a second thought. I admire you greatly for this! You have shown that you are able to do what’s right, even if it’s not “cool.” One of the biggest things I was impressed with, is your willingness to stand against Krissy. Your reasons you listed on her app, took guts. She seems to be impenetrable, but you stood up and spoke out how you felt. It certainly made more then a few people annoyed, but you have kept your cool and have remained poised, which I have greatly appreciated. You have shown you are not afraid to do what’s right, and have no problem speaking the truth, even when it’s unpopular,

I believe you are not just an amazing player and mod, but also an exceptional person. Keep up the good work!
