Some strange thing happent a few days ago. I saw light smooke came out of my computer. I by instict cut the power to my computer. I looked up what damage i found in the computer the day after, and found that the 3 pin connector power supply to the cpu cooler block (cooler master seidon 120v ver2) had deformed a little, like the plastic head that connect the cable from the cooler to the motherboard had melted a little. No damage anywhere else on the computer due. Not eaven the cable, just the connecter head. To the thing,, i have some okay nolege of computer build and can easy change the 3pin connecter with a new one, but whats the point if i donk know what caused the problem in the first place? Then it can happen again if i dont know what caused it Any idea off what the problem might be before i change the connector? Yes my English is pretty bad! And i dont know if this tread is fitting here
The problem isn't airflow, it's a poor contact. The only way to fix it is to either fix what's wrong with the EPS connector or replace the connector. Maybe try replacing the PSU with a better one. This should fix the connector overheating.
Yeah i think after looking at it a bit more its probably a bad quality connector. I have changed it to a new connector gona try starting it later. And also gona do a cheek on my psu its a few years old and been used pretty hard. Probably needs to be changed Btw when i changed the connector head i noticed that it was the Gnd that had the biggest damage around it. The ground
Well not really. Gona do some testing The pump might be broken and therefore shorting the contact Or a bad pin connector that shorting the circuit. Who knows. The only thing i know at the moment is that my wallet probably gona feel a bit lighter=) Booted the computer. And the pump works, no smoke and after windows has started computer shuts off with no error messsage What can i say. Goodbye Skyblock for a while lol

Goodbye Skyblock for a while lol Trying to start my 5years old toshiba laptop as a temp replacement. Has loaded for 15min.... Hello planned obsolescence......
I feel like it could be a short circuit or a faulty wiring of your fan? For smoke to come out it has to do with improper electrical wiring. Where did you get your computer? Also whats your power supply? Too much power can overload the wires and the electronics
I built it myself from pieces. 750w psu The wiring should be good Doing some diagnostics of the different components at the moment Could be the psu or motherboard that giving up
Hm the power output seems fine to me for a gaming computer. I'd suggest looking into your motherboard. It might've been fried or something from the insane power it recieves. Upgrading your motherboard could work. Your power supply can be the issue if all your computer parts is not working properly due to inadequate power. But that's prob just me cause I had an issue with my PC and it was mainly because of my power supply
Thank you for your advices=p I just remembered a thing due, The night it breaked down it was thunder and lightnings outside. It should not matter due cous i live in the middle off a 60 000population city and did not have any power failure. Or could this be anything? No other electronics has failed
Seems like a lightening strike has striked a power pole or somethin that generated a surge of electricity that went into your home and fried your motherboard. I would check if other electronics are working properly. Some are connected to the motherboard many aren't.
Thanx but think i found the problem=p Started the computer, it shutts off shortly after it windows loaded. I plugg off the power cable for the cpu cooler pump and windows keeps running. So must bee the water cooler pump thats broken. I done this test 2 times with same ending Lol that water cooler system is 2 months old.. ..
