If you're talking about ever downloading the pack for skyblock and using it on a singleplayer server, then no I have not but I watched a couple series of youtubers doing skyblock one including PopularMMOS and Vikkstar123. At the time, I really enjoyed watching it but never really wanted to play it. I actually forgot how I came to knowing skyblock.net.

 

I never knew it existed until 2015 or something.

 

I did download a map on survival for me sometime before I joined the server, yet I got bored of it really quickly. I like playing on this server, mostly because of the community and I can get items much easier from trading with others.

 

I remember playing skyblock for the first time in singleplayer, everytime I died in the void, I’d always respawn in the void as opposed to the bedrock. My habit of falling off my island made it impossible to gain progress before I gave up and found the server instead! Needless to say, I prefer the server

 

I have a tendency to cheat in single player myself. So, I play on servers to stop myself from cheating ;P

 

I played the maps and really enjoyed them... except for the lack of resources. So I went looking for servers with skyblock. Finally found this one Haven't opened the maps since.

 

I think I downloaded the map very shortly after it's release. About november 2011 I thought. I played until I completed most challenges but then just quit.

For me I also prefer the server because it just gives me the social interaction with a community that single player simply doesn't give me.

 

I never downloaded the map, simply because I wasn't able to figure out how to do it at the time.
