Personally I feel like you need to make a brewing stand in 1.12 so that everything will work smoothly. As far as I know it seems you're the only one who is calling this. A lot of people like 1.12 a lot use brewing stands in the updated version, so its best if you do that

So do I but, if you wanna keep the best experience with little disruptions when you play skyblock it's best to keep it updated.

if ur determined to play on 1.8, and hoppers work i think thats fine, this isn't a big "problem" its the fact that ur wanting 1.8 fixes on a mainly focused 1.12 server

 

But I’m sure there are others who don’t like the newer versions as well so it’s always nice to keep the old versions running well just so they can be happy with playing this server with older versions if they don’t like the newer ones.

 

ur problem has a solution that ur not willing to use, i prefer 1.8 but i'm not making a thread about every small detail of a problem when the server is primarily 1.12. I'm sure leeeroieee has better things to fix then brewing stands in 1.8

 

He said he put this as things to fix and so far I haven’t gotten an update from Leeeroieee so stop making assumptions and I haven’t tried your solution yet anyway.
