I need resources like gravel, glowstone, and quartz, but they are really expensive to buy from /warp trade. Can anyone please tell me the drop rates for nether resources (if you know them of course!)?

Personally I think the drop rate should increase slightly

Dont forget the nether resets every often, so that also makes up for it :)

I run a nether shop which can be found at the trading island, skysupply. Do /visit skysupply to get there, go up the stairs and search the floor for the shop. It includes all nether materials, netherrack, netherbrick, red netherbrick, netherbrick stairs/fences. netherwart blocks, glowstone, and even quartz! This info is if you are not up to going out into the nether and getting the materials yourself.

Not sure about quartz, but the information could be helpful.

Normally when I search for quartz and mine it, it never drops.

Glowstone's drop rate isn't super low like the others. I probably get half as much as I would if the drop rate was normal and that's not bad.
Though it may seem pretty hard to find since the nether hasn't been reset in a while, quartz is usually on the surface on the ground or on the ceiling. If you still can't find any just dig deeper into the nether further where no one has been before and you should find some.
Gravel is one of the hardest things in the nether to get since everyone rushes to it right when the nether restarts, not to mention the very low drop rate.

Make sure to bring a blockade with fortune 3 on it. I don't believe it improves the drop rate but when it does drop something, it'll drop more than one (usually). I don't suggest mining gravel with fortune unless you want flint instead.

I spent about an hour or two in th s nether last week and got around 4 stacks of nether quartz (not blocks) and 9 stacks of glowstone dust - and as I said befoee, the nether hasn't reset in a while so items are harder to find, yet an hour gave me a decent amount of items.

    Hope this helped : )

If you want to buy gravel, most places sell it 4 for 1 grass. Some places sell 5 for 1 grass. I believe Heatherly sells it on their island for 4 per grass :)

Yeah, the drop rate is bad and I would like it to increase. Quartz is expensive and in some places, it is actually cheap. It would be much better if the nether had a bigger drop rate.
