I really feel the need to ask you to re-promote Krissy. She deserves it, and we all know she won't abuse her power.
I appreciate you and I appreciate the thought so very much Minicrusher I just don't really agree with threads that ask for people to be promoted like this because I think it makes other applicants feel bad or in some cases, staff themselves. But thank you for thinking of me. I am not reapplying for my role like what I had previously. I, like everyone else am applying for helper as a new applicant. It is up to the staff if they feel like I am suitable for staff. I have a few things i've attempted to repair in the months since the demotion and i've done all I can to prove myself. I am happy waiting and trying to repair what was broken, mostly trust. I will always be around to help out when I can because it is something I enjoy. So thank you again
I totally disagree. Krissy doesn't deserve owner. She must become the next president of the entire world.
Regardless of whether this is true, I don't like these threads. They're just as bad as callout threads: makes a group of supporters feel good, while (in this case, subtly) criticising those who are in charge of promotions, as well as any other applicants who don't have their own "promote <name>" threads. For people such as myself who can't take a compliment either, it's incredibly awkward, and no more gratifying than a kind PM or leaving your support on the application (like you're meant to). I can't speak for how Krissy feels, but personally, it would leave me feeling awkward where you could have just messaged me. Krissy's an absolutely amazing applicant, a role model for mods old and new, and a truly good person. I just don't like these threads.
Thank you Lycel, I do feel awkward sometimes with threads like these but as I said, I will be appreciative of the support I receive. It was very thoughtful and I don't want to seem ungrateful.
In the end, it's their choice to promote her or not. I want her to be promoted, but if the admins don't want to promote her, they obviously have a reason. Maybe the staff has reached it's limit, or they want to let newer people in. We must respect their decision.
