WOLFIE'S NEW MODERATOR APPLICATION


The reason why I decided to make a new application is because I feel like I have changed a lot since I made my first application.

I'd like to apologise to everyone who has seen the way that I have acted on occasions where I have gotten particularly angry, which wasn't the right thing to do. I'm really sorry that I've behaved in a way I shouldn't have, and I am working to improve my reactions to situations that are difficult for me. I may have accused a few people of behaving a certain way towards me that they didn't and for that, I'm very sorry.

About me:
Hello there, reader, my name is Wolfie, otherwise known as Andi, which is my name in real life. I am fourteen years old and some of the things I like are Biology, research and playing video games.

I am currently in the UTC+01:00 time zone, also known as Central European Time (CET).

I live in Croatia, a country in Central Europe.

I speak English, Italian, Croatian and Serbian, but I am also currently learning German and Spanish.

Yes, I do indeed have 2FA enabled.

I can take screenshots with Gyazo and I have a recording software called BandiCam.

Why do you think you should become a mod?
For a staff member, you need a person who is ready to take that huge responsibility, that is mature enough, that is hardworking and helpful. The main reason I applied for staff is to be helpful to the server’s community (I am not saying that I can't help without the moderator rank, I just think I could be more useful and a tad more helpful with it). I feel like I can really help players in my time zone. I love the community and I will do my best to help new players and ones that need it.

~ Active ~
I have been very active lately, I benefit from my activity to help people out. I try to be active both on forums and in-game, although there might be sometimes I won’t be able to come online because of private life reasons. I can be seen online on forums every day.

~ Helpful ~
I always like to help people out. Usually, when I join in-game, I look out for players in need of help, I'll always find a way to help them. It wouldn't be a problem for me to give them starter items, some grass or refund them if they got scammed. Making people happy is what I do best.

~ Friendly ~
I find myself to be a really friendly person. I'm sorry to certain people for being unfriendly to them in the past, and I'm working on changing that. I believe that I have a really kind and friendly approach to people. If I'm being friendly towards someone, they will start to trust me and they won't be scared to talk to me. I'm always open to making new friends.

~ Unbiased and Respectful ~
I am most proud of these being my qualities, I find them really important for a Staff member. A moderator shouldn’t divide players into categories because of their ranks, everyone is equal and must be treated in the same way. When it comes to rule breaking, I am never biased, even if the rule breaker is my best friend. On the other hand, I am respectful too. I respect everyone and I'd never disrespect someone, no matter what they've done to me.

~ Group leader ~
I am really confident, so that makes me a great team leader. I always take matters into my hands. I am responsible for my actions and I will never lie to get out of trouble. I can say that I am a group leader because I always stand up for my team, and I will always try to help!

~ Mature ~
I find myself pretty mature because I tend to act the most professional I can while helping someone. While helping someone, I tend to give a reliable and mature impression, making the player trust me. I never let someone force me into reacting. I do not like swearing, I avoid it.

Thursday- 6pm-8pm
Friday- 4pm-5pm 7pm-9pm
Saturday- 7am-10am 4pm-8pm
Sunday- 7am-10am 5pm-8pm
*Please note-The given times can change at any time, because sometimes I will have school until late hours, sometimes I will have a lot of homework or I will be with my family.

How long have you been playing Skyblock?
Not for too long, since January 4th, 2017. Even though I am a newer player, I still find myself worthy enough of moderating. Since I've joined, I've become more and more involved in the community.

Have you ever been banned in the past? (Forums & In-game)?
Sadly, yes, I have been temporarily banned in-game for scamming in January, but I learned my lesson and I vowed to never do it again. I have been banned a lot of times for falling into the void as well.
I have been banned from forums because the person that bought me a premium rank charged back the rank, making me banned. I have also been punished for rate abuse in the past.

Do you have any past experience as a moderator?
Yes, I indeed do. I'm a moderator on a few servers and on a forum, so I know commands and forum moderation very well.

Neutral, although you do have a lot to improve on. Your attitude towards certain members does change a lot, and you can be rude. I know you know you need to change this, which is good.
If you need to talk about the situations that you need to control yourself in more, contact me in PM, and I will go over it there.
I don't want to see you being rude or specifically targeting one player again, if this happens, I will change my status, so you better work hard not to.

You also make jokes that are about very sensitive topics and that needs to stop.

I know that you could moderate well once you push past these negative aspects. You do have potential.

You still have a bit to improve on and you seem quite desperate. In-game you're always asking moderators if this is how a command works and which term do you use. It's good that you're eager to learn, but you'll be taught how to do all these things if promoted, what's the fun of it if you already know it all? You can have a negative attitude to some people, and you don't take situations very well. You were warned (whether needed or not) and you did not take it very well, they were warnings, not kicks or bans. This shouldn't effect your application, so you shouldn't worry. I'm also a bit sceptical about whether you are dedicated or not, as recently you've only been talking about mineverse and how you want to buy ranks on there, that's good, but really if you're going to moderate here then show some more dedication, you've also locked your applications a few times when you've been upset, and don't get me wrong, that is a good idea, but you come and go, and we need a committed staff member added to our team.

You being extremely disrespectful to me behind my back in social spy. You told me to “kill myself” on discord even after I told you not to do that, because it makes me upset.
