I speak English and I took 3 years of Spanish in high school. Here’s what I know: Hola, como estas? Just kidding, I know way more than that. I also understand a little bit of Arabic, but I can't really read or type it, I can just hear what my parents say and understand from that.

Do you have 2FA enabled?
Yes.

Do you have the necessary means of capturing evidence?
Yes, I am able to do screenshots from RSHIFT (I changed this key because my PC has function keys that get in the way, and I need to press FN before hitting the function keys, which is annoying), I can also record from my phone and send it to the forums, Discord, or Skype if needed.

Have you ever been banned? (if yes, why?) -Yes, I was banned for looting by Lycel (on .net).
-I also got banned for bridging by SugarCane (also on .net).
-I also got banned for a “fake death threat” by Dough. I said “jk” after the entire death threat but I said it in black coloring so it was hard to see, mine and Dough’s mistake (he didn’t see). Now I understand that threats aren’t good to say at all but IF he had seen the “jk” at then end, it MAY have at least been a warning, if not a mute.

I understand the rules and just so I can remember the rules, I keep a post-it-
note beside me on my wall just in case so I can remember them allllllll (Did that on purpose). I will make sure I know what the rules are and I will make sure I follow them. I have learned from my mistakes and from the bans and I won't do this ever again (and I'll make sure I won't). I regret those moments every time I look on my application.

Why do you think you should be a mod? I think I am ready for a job like this. I have seen so many people asking for help these days so I keep thinking, "Man, it would be great being a mod right now." I know the server has merged and everything but I still think I can handle a server like this. (I understand that there are already a lot of moderators that work for this server, but most of the mods are not usually online at night, but I could change that.) I think I should be a mod on this server especially because it's just the right size for me and it will make me ready for larger servers if I ever want to become a mod there.

• Helpful: I like to help ANYONE who is in need of help, whether it's returning lost items, or answering questions people ask me. I am on my computer to help people physically, but if not, then I try to go on Minechat whenever I can and see if people need help. (But not physically help, as in going to that person). (I am always helpful and ask people for help, but I always get messages from people. I ask people out loud but I can't make them ask out loud either). I will also tell a person if something they are doing is wrong like trading sand or buckets by saying, "Bucket trading is illegal!" or "Sand trading is not allowed!", stuff like that. I will also make sure that person knows the rules and I will tell them if they need to know since I keep a post-it-note beside me on my wall, or I will tell them to simply look it up themselves but I won't since I'm not rude.
• Enthusiastic: I love Minecraft and I love this server. Playing on servers makes me feel happy because I get to be around a lot of people and that encourages me to be kind. Plus, when I'm bored, I'll just ask my mom for my computer, and play on Skyblock.
• Kind: I am a very kind person around other players even when they aren't being nice to me. My parents used to tell me: "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." I think this is very true and I keep telling myself this whenever people try to be mean to me. #StompOutBullying!
• Honest: I am very honest and I always think "Honesty is the best policy" and it's always better to tell the truth because when you tell a lie, the other person will always figure out that you're lying in the future. I will also make sure other people on the server will tell the truth towards others.
• Respect/Respectful: I respect many people no matter what and I try to stay positive and keep the server positive too, as in trying to get others to respect others around them. I also treat skygods and donors and mods as if everyone was equal. I don't make fun of a new player of what they do, like make a mistake, instead I help the player out to help him or her understand the server better, and not laugh at him or her, unlike some people.
• Safe: What I mean by safe in this case means I won't over use my commands as in I won't ban a person for them doing nothing, and I'll make sure I won't ban, mute, or kick an innocent player.
• Aware: I am aware of things which means that I will always watch the chat so that I can know whenever people need help with anything, I can help them right away and they don't have to wait a long time for someone to help them.
• Patient: I can relate to this with "Aware" because if I am a mod, I'll be patient and I'll watch the chat to see if anyone needs justice! (LOL) (or help).
• Funny: I am usually funny and this helps when someone is feeling sad if because that person got grieved, scammed, or lost anything, I will be there to help get a little sense of humor in them (if I can’t help in any other way) so they won't be so sad when they lose anything. I am usually funny also in the normal chat so I can give a few people just a little laughter. PLEASE don’t mistake this of me being immature. People ALWAYS take this the wrong way about me and I get mad about it a lot. Just because I’m an overall funny person, doesn’t mean that I can’t be mature at the same time. Take Emerald as an example. He was super serious (when he was a moderator) and he’s also funny too.
• Trustworthy: When people ask me to search their island or anything that has to do with keeping/holding someone else's items, I will always be careful with it and I'll never give it to anyone so they can use it, and I won't grief that person's island (if they have /trusted me), because I'm trustworthy!
• Active: I am usually on the weekends but I can definitely play longer on breaks. And I can actually now get on more often using the Minechat app on my phone, so if I don't get any homework, I can just hop on that for a little bit. (Little update.) I MAY be on sometimes at night from 10 AM to 3 AM because I have a backup pc that my parents don’t know about so I can go on that pc when it’s night and they don’t know I’m on it.
• Fast Typer: I can type kind of quick. Usually when I see someone ask for help in the general chat, I try my best to quickly answer their question, so they don't have to struggle anymore. Sometimes I make a few errors in my typing but not too many errors where the other person doesn't know what I'm saying. I'm kind of self taught on this skill. I am currently trying to get this skill improved.
• Experienced: I have actually been a part of my friend's server for a little while (You can read more about this in the section: "Do you have any past experiences as a moderator?") so I do know how to use most of the moderator commands such as ban, kick, mute, etc. I think this is helpful because as soon as I get mod, I can get straight into the action.

How long can you be active on the server every day? I am usually on skyblock.net a lot. But usually if I am not online, its mostly because I have a lot of school work to do at home. (I am in 12th grade at my high school). I also have after-school band practices from 3:00 to 5:00 pm but not on Fridays or Wednesdays (as Fridays and Wednesdays are usually longer practices). (My band teacher sometimes cancels a day due to errands, illness, etc).
My normal school days are from 8:30 am to 2:40 pm.
(These times below are affected of how much homework I have or my band teacher may cancel some days for band.) I also have competitions for band on weekends. If it's a field comp, probably the whole day. If it's a street comp, it usually ends few hours after 12 pm (like around 2-5). So these competitions affect the times below as well! Also, if my parents ground me, it will affect these times as well.
Weekdays (maybe I’ll get to play on weekdays if I get lucky. If I do, here's the time when I can be on then.):
5pm-8:30pm
Weekends:
12pm-9pm
Holidays/breaks:
12pm-9pm
I can also be online from the Minechat app if I can't get on my PC.
NOTE #1: These times are not set if I play everyday! These are set if I DO play that day.
NOTE #2: My schedule may be changing because I’m almost done with school so maybe I’ll have more time to play.
NOTE #3: I have a “back up pc” (my dad’s old pc) that I use during the night. Usually I’ll play from 10pm-3am but there’s no actual set schedule cause I’m not going to be up every night, I need my sleep. :3

How long have you been playing Skyblock?
I'd say for about a year (maybe 2...?), because not too long ago I got a trophy for being a member for 1 year. But I know for a fact that I've been on Skyblock long enough to be a moderator.

Do you have any past experience as a moderator? Yes, I became a Mod for my friend's server. I don't do anything much on it but I have made a pvp arena, bouncy house (lol), 3 parkours, and a guards tower for the pvp arena so the other mods that are online can view the people who are battling to see if there are any cheaters or hackers or modders and ban them right away. I know this MAY seem useless but have something is better than having nothing, right?

Do you meet the requirements for staff?
Yes. I posted way more than 50 times, I set up my 2Fa, I've been registered on the Skyblock Forums for more than 2 weeks, and I do have Skype and discord to be able to speak with others.

Here is a little bit about myself:
1: My first name is Matthew, (or Matt), I prefer being called Matt but you can call me either one if you're not calling me Gamzee or Gam.
2: I am a friendly guy, if someone is in need of help I will help them! If someone asks me for help, I usually help them out.
3: I am a 17 year old teen (birthday is April 11th). I was born in the year 2000 in the state of California. I can speak a little bit of Spanish.
4: I get excited a lot. Sometimes I get too excited over things that aren't really too much to be excited about.
5: After school, I play the trumpet in my marching band class.
6: I have 4 people in my current family: me, my brother, my mom, and my dad.
(I understand if these facts may be useless, but I want to get a chance to make friends on the forums and get people to know me better!)

I am going to apologize in advance for creating another moderator application. The only reason I did this is because my old application got locked by someone and I was not notified of this. Your last aapplication really sums up your attitude.

 

All of this doesn’t really show that you have much experience, more that you just have a rank on a server and you spend most of that building.

Hey dude, I just like to have fun. I don't want my application to make it seem like I'm boring or not a fun person. I wanted to spice things up a bit. Don't take that too hard please mate. And also, don't judge a book a book by its cover.

That's why I said that, to show my experience using the rank. I'm not going to say "oh I had no experience." That wont help my application. At least what I said will help it by about 5%. Sometimes telling a bit of somewhat useless information is better than no information.

Telling people to not judge a book by its cover doesn’t change anything. You’re obviously not taking it seriously if you’re just “trying to have some fun”.

 

Are you trying to bullshit your way out of this or something? Last application you couldn't handle a hint of criticism. It doesn't matter if you're boring or not, or fun or not when you're the opposite of what we're looking for in a moderator (In my opinion). I'm not even close to judging a book by its cover. You wouldn't be able to handle the job at all and so many people would make fun of you. Worse than an Emerald situation...

 

Name one mod that is a mod for Skyblock who is ONLY serious and not fun at all. Cause I haven't seen one from my experiences here.
