So I kinda just ordered these parts, never built a computer. Can anyone shed some light on if its extremely hard or pretty self explanatory if you have a guide/video to follow?

What's really weird is I am rebuilding my PC and I am getting most of the same parts, weird. It's really not that hard, there should be some tutorials online. Probably know this but if you got extra you should get a water cooling so your PC doesn't overheat, try also throwing in some more fans. Overall this looks like a good build if you want to play games like Battlefield 1 and such.

Its self explanatory ( you should of ordered a 7700k btw)

It gets tricky with custom water loops

It'll take a while to build tho, you have quite the build

The noctua cooler does about the same or even better than most aio's, with water cooling, a downside is the retained heat. You dont have that problem with air coolers. It won't even come close to overheating, won't go past 70 degrees celcius with high overclock

LOL those specs are so overkill, but it's pretty simple. It's mostly attaching everything to the motherboard, screwing in the memory, trickiest part is the liquid cooler if you have one but dw about getting one. make sure to dust your pc once in a while as well (if liquid cooler refill it as well). gl building it, im sure there are some more better tutorials on yt, get one thats short because it really doesnt take that long to build a pc. also installing the os is easy

If your PC gets dusty which it probably will, you can go to a local store near you and buy a compressed air canister which can clear the dust out just like that

Eh a couple friends mainly picked out the parts.
And everyone said you like, wouldnt have a noticeable difference.

I have an asus one already that I've used for xbox for a while but in a couple weeks going to buy this one

Yeah, 7700k and 6700k are practically the same although the 7700k might be more optimized

I've never built a PC ever, but one of my friends has. He had fun doing it.
I just use the built ones because im used to those.

(Anybody know how to modify a Dell XPS 8300? It freezes a lot and I want it to have better performance and better cooling and such)

I was also told specs are a bit overkill but I'd rather build a PC that will last rather than having to spend a grand a year or two to make it baseline relevant with upgrades to be able to handle all the new games coming out and potentially VR

I recently made my Ryzen7 build and putting it all together is the easy bit in my opinion... Installing the OS and all the drivers is the most tedious part. Plus you splashed out for a 1080TI but not RGB RAM :t

Definitely did not need an i9 since that is more for like video editing and compression moreso than making a difference in gaming
