I have been thinking about this suggestion for a while, but never ended up publishing this in a thread due to the fact I didn't know if a plug-in existed for this command. When I did research, found out that /itemid is indeed a plug-in that has already been created: I think it would be extremely useful for Skyblock.net. What is /itemid? So... what is /itemid? When holding an item, you can type /itemid to learn that specific item's ID. You can also use the command '/itemid <item>' to find and ID without holding the item. Why will this improve Skyblock.net? /itemid will make setting up trade shops easier. For certain items, it is difficult to find or work out the ID for it. To sell an item successfully in a shop, you need to have the correct trade ID. For example, when I began setting up my shop as a new player, I spent a long time asking around for the ID of an item. Only one person I asked knew it, and that was someone who owned a pretty large shop. I think adding the /itemid command will make setting up trade shops, especially for new players, much easier. The command is even useful for experienced players, in my opinion. Support, some servers i used to play on had that plugin. Adding this would make us making tradeshops easier instead of googling or asking in game what is the id of this...
Seems To Work Find From 1.8 to 1.12 Are You Sure your triggering fn 3 and not just increasing the volume? its the same button on my laptop so i turn on fn lock

Support!!! This will make tradeshops so much easier to make, but they should also have it vice versa, where you can type in the id and it tells you what the corresponding block is.
