Is this an excuse to draw people away from this server?

 

No? Its a pvp tournament that will last most likely less than an hour. They win a prize on skyblock net, I don't understand how this would draw people away from the server? Most people who entered are dedicated skyblock player except whyteduck.

This is meant to be a fun tournament, I don't see a reason for your dislike

 

The tournament is hosted on another server, you'd need to tell people the IP which is basically advertising. I get that they're asking for the IP technically, but I kind of see this giveaway as an excuse to advertise. I'm sorry, but that's just how it is.

I don't own the server or in partner with it, the only reason it is hosted on a different server is because mineverse doesn't have a arena type pvp area. Why would I feel the need to advertise a server that I don't associate with?
