Didnt know where to make this thread here or in off topic.

So most of you know that I have a youtube channel but I need help with editing and recording videos as when I get on my laptop I will post a video of my build hopefully when i build it.
The things I need help with is.

1. A good, simple recorder: I have used Bandicam as to record my videos and I can only record for only 10 minutes. If you guys know any free simple recorder that can record more than 10 minutes I did be grateful.
2. Video Editor: I still dont know how to edit my video or crop or add some parts. I dont know any softwares or ways to edit my videos. If you have any easy way to edit videos I did be also be more grateful.
3. Music: And lastly if i want to add a sound effect or a music to the video how do i do it?

I am a kind of a beginner when it comes to recording and editing. But I did be so happy if you can help me out at least.

 

Well, I have heard of Screencast o matic. Idk how much mins u can record, but i think you should try it

Apparently OBS is pretty good, but it's a little difficult. I've been trying to find some good editing software too.

 

I use Wondershare filmora actually.

Screencast-O-Matic sucks. I see it on Animal Jam videos all the time.
Always the same 7-16 FPS footage.

I'd try OBS. It's not that simple but it works.

Try Activepresenter it's a lot lighter to run than OBS.

for beginners windows movie maker is ideal. it basically has everything u would want to do and it's basic. when u download it though it will ask for a registration code thing which you'd have to, normally, pay for but (bop) just follow that n u get it for free n won't have to pay
