So apparently whenever I get on my PC, after about 5 minutes on Google chrome (2 minutes on Skyblock), my computer suddenly crashes. I don't know why, it's been happening for the last couple days. So now I can't go on Minecraft, heck I can't even start Skyblock. Which is the reason I haven't been online for couple days. Even if I did, I wouldn't be able to pass just a couple minutes. I personally think it is some memory thing again (this problem also came up couple years ago). I now dislike my XPS 8300. They claim to be "better at performance". Let me just make it clear; Performance wise, NO. Reliability, NO. Features, ehhh. Gaming. NO. It's good for people who just use it for typing up a Word document or storing bunch of project files and what not. Heck my school computer is somewhat better and can support Minecraft (even though we don't have it).

I am currently as of now when I type this, using my Dell Insprion 15 3000 Laptop. It is really reliable, great performance, and excellent for day-to-day usage.

    Specs of the Laptop:

    Windows 10 Home
Intel Core i5-4210U Dual Core @ 1.70 GhZ (minimum I think?) and 2.4 GhZ (Max?)
    1TB Hard Drive
8GB Ram On Average 90% is usable.
    Intel HD Graphics

    Seems weird..
You should probably consult the store that sold the PC to you, and while you are figuring things out just use your laptop :).

Sounds like it's either a problem with your RAM, a problem with your hard drive, or a problem with your fan, at a guess. Is your fan running in overdrive, does your computer lag out before crashing, and have you tried starting it in safe mode?

Krissy is good at these things.

No my fan isn't running in overdrive. It doesn't lag before crashing. No I haven't tried starting it in safe mode.

Ok for a short time it stopped crashing. Now it's crashing again :(. My dad claims it's the Steam launcher. Maybe it didn't install correctly?? What do you guys think? I cannot be on the server bc of this. This is why I am inactive atm

the specs of that laptop are fine. If its the steam launcher, delete it. It could also be a problem with the hard drive? idk.
I mean, check the dell website or call them, they might help. Also, clean out the battery.

lmao i thought it was a laptop. It could be a problem with your graphics card or hard drive then? If its a problem with RAM, replace it.

My graphics card seems fine. I'm not hearing it run really loud. You might be true about Steam..I don't know if it's a code issue or what.

Delete MacAfee and webroot as they do nothing that Windows Defender can't do.
You should probably buy a new hard drive

Once you're able to get on, go to task manager and see what programs are running on startup, remove steam and such if its there. Uninstall steam as well.
