wrong section, this should be in discussion, not trading. Also I'd like to say that you should actually take the time in the community, rather than just spamming random crap to gain post count. The requirement is 50 messages, try going for more and make sure the messages are detailed and in depth. Remember, less is more.
No. I applied for staff when I hit 70, but people thought I shouldn't have. Wait till 100 for better outcomes c:
Its not about your post count. You need to want to be staff and want to take up the responsibility. If you really want to apply, just do it when you meet the requirements and don't worry about threads like this.
It's not up to anyone else, only you. If you feel you are ready to apply for a staff position go for it, but it can be a difficult position.
To be fair, I made my first application a day after I joined the forums and it got accepted eventually. Do what you want, but you'll get the best results if you sit on your application until you think you're actually ready to be a moderator. I would advise trying to get to "Active Member" before applying, that's primarily as proof you're active enough in the community.
just dont. wait until youre better known - therefore more people will trust you can handle such a large role.
do it straight away when you hit 50. Why waste time talking to people when you can whip out a wonderful mod application. Some extra tips. : Make sure to use alot of different colors to make trigger peoples' happy feelings when they read your application, a good mood = good reviews. Also make sure to use different sizing in letters to keep peoples' eyes active. If you're donor, do mention it, it severely increases your chances! A greenie has no place in a moderator team!
1. Wrong thread lmao 2. Wrong timing to ask should I apply for mod lol 3. The MINIMUM is 50. 25 posts are for you getting a rating 4. From my experience you should get around what Wofie said If you have any questions, feel free to msg me I'll always be happy to help you.
I would like to say yes. But my real thinking is no, because once you get 50 messages, that is great and you are "able" to apply for mod. But I feel a person should have long term experience on the server/forums or at least maybe 100 posts before applying. But it would be great to see you help out in the community and try to apply!
