Hello there, I am Lycel. I realised that most people probably don't know me too well, so I'm going to make a speedy straight-to-the-point introduction/summary of who I am.

I joined Skyblock in May 2014. I was promoted to Trial Moderator in November of that year, then later full mod, before being demoted in April 2015. I was demoted for calling Cyp greedy and corrupt - not a good move. I begged forgiveness and was taken back onto the team two months later. I then moderated for six months until December 23rd, 2015, where I bid my farewells and left the server due to my likely inactivity in the future from school and disinterest.

I'm a donor250 with both an IGN and nick of Lycel, though I've only ever donated $25 to this server. I once loved this community, and it's strange to be back for a visit. And yes - for anyone who's wondering - this is most likely a visit. I've learnt from my mistakes, and one of those mistakes was getting drawn into this community.

So, about me. You all know now that I was a mod, but aside from that, I'm in my final year of school. Next year I plan on going to university to study a double degree in biology and linguistics. My plans for the future include getting a PhD in one of the two fields and becoming a researcher/academic, as that's what I truly enjoy.

My interests include linguistics and language, particular syntax and etymology, and ornithology - particularly the woodland birds around my area. My hobbies are art and music: I play the tenor (or "alto) horn, piano, u.kulele, and ocarina, and I also sing. I picked up art from my sister, who is an illustrator, and my profile picture and cover were drawn by yours truly.

My personality is generally as follows: I'm opinionated but value acceptance and so generally try to be polite as well as get my point across. I will often talk about things other people are not interested in because I cannot understand how people simply ignore others, even when the topic doesn't interest them. I'm a friendly person as long as I don't object to you.

So, that's about all you need to know about me. I'm almost late for class so I'm cutting this short.

Quite an existential symbol represented via your username it appears. Perhaps you would be willing to communicate with the community why this name, albeit with an altered phonetic spelling, was chosen by "yours truly."

 

Sadly I was not aware of Lysol until I came to Skyblock, and was using the name Lycel well beforehand. I chose this name because took my name, [Removed], reversed it, Lechar, Then added a Y because Ys are cool, and messed around with it a bit. It was originally made in 2009 as the name for one of my characters, a Saw-whet owl.
