It is good that you have that mindset. But not everyone is like you. The just the internet isn't a valid excuse. Cyberbullying is a real thing and does effect people. You can't just expect everyone to go along the way you do. There have been suicides that have been caused by Cyberbullying, and I would hate to have blood on my hands. You have to consider everything. I just got annoyed and sick of the negativity, it is not healthy for a person.

The thread was for clarifying what I see. Sometimes people like to put their opinion out there. I know I am feeding the trolls, that isn't new to me. Yes I am contributing to the death of it. But I would much rather be on a server that had a lot less negativity on it.

I have been wondering why this server has downsized since I was last active, so this is interesting. But I think you have an interesting definition fo "leave". Oh well. Irrelevant.
As I have a direct comparison from Skyblock in late 2015 to Skyblock now, the main difference I can see is people are complaining. Skyblock has ALWAYS been buggy, introducing new features to cover up old issues, half built, a little rough around the edges (Like when visiting and island locking was introduced, woah boy). The difference between them now and then is that people are blaming them for the server's downfall, and like rats abandoning ship, once everyone thinks the server is dying, they leave, making the server die even more. There's a fairly big difference in the moderators I must admit, in that as far as I can tell so far, there used to be a small amount of insanely dedicated moderators when I was in the team, whereas now there are a huge number of not-very-dedicated moderators. This could be wrong, but personally, I have not seen a single moderator online since I came back for a visit.

Does anyone have other thoughts on the true cause of this server's downfall? It's certainly not neglect, because that has not changed in the slightest since I was here last.
