Thanks for tagging me Wolfie ! Awesome idea and prizes. I'm not a very good story writing but here goes my story!

I was in the back seat, my mum and dad driving along as I gazed out the window whilst the rain poured down the glass. It was a week or so until the huge event. I knew I'd be going to my auntie's to witness it all, via the TV screen, like usual. Obviously. As the car slowed as we approached the red light, my mum looked back at me. She said, 'How much would you pay to be there?' My response was no surprise, 'Everything, mum.' I thought at the prospect, and kind of laughed at the thought of me imagining myself, being there, in that moment. Man, what I would give to be there. As I re-emerged from my daydream, my mum had a wide grin on her face. She said, 'Would you pay £45 to be there?' It was a simple answer from me. 'Obviously!' 'Well guess what,' she said. 'What?' I replied. 'You're going.' I can't describe the joy I felt as my mum uttered those words. I felt like jumping all around, it was some of the best joy I've ever felt. I remember being at home that night and listening as I heard my brother and my dad arguing downstairs. 'It's not fair dad! She gets to go and I don't? How is that fair????' my brother yelled. For the week leading up to this, it had never really sunk in until the day itself. Getting ready, wrapping up for the cold night. Me and my dad, we took the long route and witnessed the remains of the welcoming parties from earlier before. Holding that ticket in my hand, clenching it tightly. We entered early to soak up the atmosphere. I couldn't believe it. I was here. Right now. Did I pinch myself? Of course. As it began my joy slowly faded as we trailed. 0-2. Could this get any worse. I told my dad, 'It's ok I'm still enjoying it.' We both knew this wasn't true. It was hell. After the break, I found it hard to imagine things being rectified. The entire stadium was despondent, other than the joyful away fans of course. Suddenly. new life. BANG we were back in it! Joy for us all! Out scarves were waved and joy flared, the atmosphere blew up like a house on fire and belief was high. It never lasted very long. Boom, the other end they sent us into despair again. What followed from this was what no mind could have possibly imagined....

We sat with out heads in our hands. 1-3. The belief of these fans though never dies, never. 2-3. 3-3. Belief! The stadium buzzed, we had hope!!! However. time was running out. Despite the 3-3 scoreline, they were winnnig on aggregrate. The minutes ticked away, hope slowly started to fade. Suddenly, one final chance. This was it: now or nothing. The entire stadium watched on, so many couldn't even look. We found the space, but it looked like it was all wasted, all gone. The dream was lost. Abruptly, a burst of life, suddenly it was lofted in and time slowed for me.... YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES! Joy bursted from the place and it was 4-3! My dad lifted me up in joy and I couldn't believe my eyes: we'd made it!
The joy of that night can never fade. It's remembered round here. Always. I still hold the souvenir from the night. It never fades....

I hope you enjoyed my story. If anyone can guess what event is described here, I will give you a diamond in game.
-=- Good Luck to All Entrants -=-

The day the flood came was a suitable one; clouds as far as the eye could see, a light dusting of rain falling upon the pastures and fields; the usual affair. This one particular man, of the middle variation in age, thought it prudent on this particular day to visit the city. He was not exactly sure why, but it seemed the appropriate thing to do. How very wrong he was.

This man’s nostrils were certainly not accustomed to the pungent city smells issuing from the many buildings around him. The atmosphere was polluted with the thick, billowing smog bursting out from disproportionately large chimneys, like a dancing wildfire without the flames. This, of course, is a silly metaphor for the appearance of smog, for smog cannot be without some source of flame or extreme heat; but it is the chosen one nonetheless. That is, after all, exactly what it looked like. As his downcast eyes glanced furtively around at his unfamiliar surroundings, he caught a whiff of something familiar, something that stood out among the many filthy smells like a clown at a funeral. The smell of an incoming storm.

Worry flashed through the man’s memory, processed by his subconsciousness faster than the most technologically advanced supercomputer. The flood had hit 23 years ago, sending what seemed like the entire country into panic and peril. But the most peril had been applied to him.

On that day, painstakingly similar to this one, he had rushed home to find water pushing the barriers that were his floorboards. Slamming doors everywhere, he had rushed inside to find water seeping relentlessly to cover the mangy carpet. Ankle deep in that freezing liquid, he had attempted to stem the flow; but to no avail. Sprinting through the house, he had heard what sounded like footsteps behind him, but foolishly dismissed it as an effect of the raging waters. As his pursuer crept closer and closer, the man had a sudden impulse to turn around. But he was too late. As an impenetrable hessian sack was thrown over his aching head, he had begun to peruse the shelves of his thoughts, realising only then the source of those earlier heard footsteps. His abductor.

Now, back in the current time, we move to a scene of great sadness. Creeping shadows in tiny, cramped alleyways. The man who has been the subject of this story walking not entirely free of burden, but convinced of his safety. Rain pouring down on the heads of those walking the streets, making their way back to their safe, comfortable homes. And as this one particular man felt the same impulse he had felt all those 23 years ago, his heart filled with dread, as a thick, impenetrable hessian bag was thrown over his head, and he was resigned to the cool bliss of sleep.

[ I spent over an hour to write this for an english class o_O ]

It was night.. So dark she couldnt wake up, nightmares were in her head, and had been thinking for hours her dead sister.. She woke up.. storms and tornados around her... and she saw a ghost.. It was her sister.. she was crying holding a teddy bear, HER teddy bear. none should touched it. She was cold.. she needed a blanket to feel hot. She gave her the blanket.. and she said with a creepy voice: th-thank you... she wore the blanket.. and went through the window while she was whistling... She followed the ghost through the storms... she got hurt by bat, bited by snakes, but she continued following the ghost... Her hair got messed up, she couldnt continue... but she did... She saw a boy.. That was her dead brother.. she tried to hug him but.. she fell into the void.. Luckily, he caught her.. She said with an innocent voice: thank you brother... She followed her sister and brother through the darknes.. where none else belonged there. Her brother & sister hugged her.. She was crying.. because she lost them.. by the murderer.. Sh-she got stabbed.. in the arm by him.. the murderer... She fell on the ground.. crying.. and she were losing a lot of blood.. A little boy.. in her age. fought with the murderer.. and luckily.. he won.. the murderer fell on some rocks, with his head chopped off.. The boy told Bella: Bella, i always think about you when i open my eyes, i think about you every evening when i turn off the lights, i think about you every moment every day of my life, you're on my mind.. I love you.. He kissed her.. they both were crying.. the ghosts walked away.. She-she opened her eyes and told him: I, I love you too... And he hugged him.. The darkness ran away... You saw a light came from the sky.. and went through Bella.. Her arm wasnt bleeding anymore.. You could saw sun.. and clouds, Bella and him were alone, into a forest.. They holded hands.. and progressed.. Thumbs up if you want me to continue it!!

George, Peter and Yosif were 3 really close friends. They were adventures or you can say that they loved to go to forbidden zones. Their next goal was to enter the basement of the Scientific Museum.

Everything was ready, they have scouted out the museum and they knew where the big stone key was located. 6 PM they entered the museum. Peter distracted the guards so the other 2 friends can sneak around and grab the key. After they grabbed it they ran through the big hall way which leaded to large wooden stairs. They ran down them and arrived right in front of the basement's door. The key was on Yosif but George insisted to open the door.

Right before he opened it he heard a familiar sound coming from the dark place. He thought it was a mouse, well he hoped it was. They got inside, Peter turned on the lights which were blinking every 30 seconds and they saw things they thought they'd never see. George and Peter saw a caveman with 2 golden teeth riding a horse. What George saw was a dinosaur with a hand watch. George know knew that the sound he had heard a split second ago was the arrow of the watch.

Yosif was looking around and he saw a paper on the ground. He got it to see what it was written on it but he was that shocked that he threw it back on the ground. It was the plan of the museum but at the map there wasn't the place where they were, the basement. The door locked itself.

    The End
