Friends
There are currently many friend list GUI's that are possible to use, but this isn't really needed to add although it would be a cool addition. I will find one like this, but there would be a custom GUI that will allow you to add friends, block friends, remove friends, or friend chat. To access these commands, you would be able to do /friends.

Add friends - Basically a way to add a friend, so you can chat with them. Moderation will not be needed for this, since you can do whatever you want as long as you don't break rules. But cussing would be allowed since it's already allowed in private messages.

Block friends - Not really a needed thing, but t here would be a way to block friends so you do not get messages from them, nor they won't be allowed to send a friend request again.

Remove friends - A way to remove a current friend you have, if the other person hasn't removed you, they aren't allowed to message you unless you are both friends.

Friend chat - You would be able to have a chat with friends, and have a group chat with many friends. For the group chat, they all do not have to be friends. To do this, you would do /chat friends and it would put you in the friends chat. When you type in chat, it would automatically go to the friends chat. To disable you, you would do /chat global and you would be able to talk in global chat again. If you want to type in friend chat, all you have to do is /chat friends once and when you type in chat it would put it in friends chat unless you turn it off. Friends chat is allowed cussing, but any other rules broken will have to be reported. That may not be a problem, since why would you be rude to your friends

It would look something like this for the chat.



When your friend comes online, there would be a pop-up in chat that says "<friend> is now online!" which only you can see. When your friend disconnects, it would say "<friend> has disconnected!" To disable those messages just in-case your friend is spamming you with that, in the GUI menu there would be a settings which you can disable friend chats and the option to see if your friend disconnected or came online.

Hoppers
The server will be updating to 1.9 or 1.10 soon. This means if there are no issues with hoppers, we would be able to add them. Cypriot believed he fixed the issues with them (duping issues) and needs some experts with all hopper dupes to message him all of them so he can double check before he adds them. Many people who are on this server love to use hoppers for redstone machines, automated farming TheSugarCane, etc. Hoppers are most likely to be added back very soon, but I am suggesting they should be once all the patches have been done and we have updated our server to the current version.​

Hoppers aren't coming back.

 

He said because of some new found glitches they're not coming back.

 

Support, god how nice it would be to have /friends.

 

There should be a way to patch them. They will come back if they are all patched.

 

Love this. Please listen to our pleas o mighty Cyp. Haha, all jokes aside, adding friends will be a great way to tell when people you know are online. Also, just a cool thing in many other ways I cant be bothered to list.

About hoppers: they might not ever come back but I want them to haha.

Support on the friends idea. I believe it would make it easier to communicate with friends. As far as hoppers go, I am not quite sure how I feel about those yet. I have heard that there have been consistent issues with a dupe glitch in hoppers. I suppose if updating the server to 1.10 would help, then sure.

 

Wait does that mean we are having a reset for the update to 1.9 and 1.10? Or it will still remain the same but just going to be using different versions?

 

I think the server can update without a reset needed.

 

Oh ok. I think the hoppers should be enabled again. Since other servers have them working, it means that there's no dupping problem. And the friends chat is a good way to chat without /msging the wrong people when you are speaking with 2 or more players. So Support!

The friends plugin is present on Org. This suggestion is achievable.

 

I support the first suggestion however I am sure hoppers won't come back, because new glitches are found every other day.

Friend chat will probably become a thing.
I don't agree with the "all rules except cussing apply" part. If your friend says something mean to you, you can figure it out between the two of you.
Death threats and all that other bad stuff should stay away, though.

As for hoppers, no support.
If you want hoppers, play on Org. It's quiet there anyways.
