Ever since the cool down was added to the commands, most people where annoyed by it. People kept on loosing stuff when they fell in the void and have to wait for the cool down.

But instead of removing it, we should reduce a few seconds of waiting. Like wait 5 seconds for each command to avoid frustration of waiting every time when you try to visit a island or trust someone.

Or remove the cool down from some major commands like /home, /trust, /visit etc. But I think /visit should reduce the time to 5 seconds because that's a command that is used pretty often.

 

Just remove it altogether.

 

No but if you remove it then it will cause lag again which means Unplayable.

 

I agree, this has been an issue for players who do not have /fly. I have experienced this when I fell off of a friend's island carrying some vote keys and grass. I know it isn't a huge deal but I think it can cause major losses if people carry diamonds.

 

There will be more lag if this is still active. If you have a plugin and its not turned on then there is no use is there?

No the server was lagging every 1-5 minutes due to numbers of players using commands.

Yeah they will still go all at once if everyone were to type it at the same time then they would all go at the same time 5 seconds or 10 seconds later

It's because you can't spam the command while the cooldown is active. It prevents people from spamming commands rapidly and repeatedly in an attempt to crash the server.

I'm assuming certain commands lag the server differently, the more lag it causes the longer the cooldown.

 

I honestly want it removed. Maybe in time cyp can find an alternative other than the cooldown.

 

Yeah me too. But some people seggested to remove it an people seem to think its a bad idea. So I thought that instead of removing it, we could mate the cooldown time shorter.

 

I think its tolerable for now, it does reduce lag. I think it should suffice until cyp finds an alternative. For now, its the best we can get in my opinion, even as much as I hate it.

 

Yep at lease the game is still playable. Before it lags and freezes ever 1-5 minutes which caused me to get a bit annoyed by it.

 

There are many reasons for lag and this isn't one.
