You may not have seen me on a lot because I recently changed my name. I want to thank you for opening up my application and investing the time to read it. Please leave comments, I know I am not perfect and I want to know what I can improve on so that I can become a better player. Your in-game name: My name is VirtualSanity. What timezone are you in? I live in UTC-5. What country do you live in? I live in the United Sates of America. What languages do you speak? I only speak English, but I have quick access to Google Translate if it is ever necessary. Do you have 2FA enabled? Yes/No I do have two factor authentication enabled. Do you have the necessary means of capturing evidence? (i.e. recording software, screenshots, etc) I can take screenshots and videos and upload quite easily. Why do you think you should become a mod? First, I will just give you some traits of mine that I consider helpful in moderating: Unbiased: I will never be unfair, I know I must always collect evidence and try to settle problems. Everyone from skygods to defaults are equal, no one gets special treatment under any circumstances. Friendly: I am always trying to be a kind person, someone who people can talk to and feel comfortable with. The last thing I want is to be a mod who people cannot come to with problems on the server. Fast-typer: I can type fast, and can respond quickly to people. I know what is in the response is more important than how fast it is, and I am always thoughtful about what I say and think it over. Once I have decided it is the right thing to say, then I post/message it. Mature: As some of you know, I just recently turned 12. I am young, but I am considered mature for my age. I know being a staff member is not a joke, and I will always be mature on the server and around other people. Dedicated: I am dedicated to the server. I spend most of my time on it, and I am very loyal to the server. I want to see it grow have more people join our community. This server is very well run, and being a staff member would be my honor. Honest: I am honest. I try consistently to be the most honest person I can be, with regards to people's feelings. Lying is not something I consider okay, and I will never fudge the truth. Patient: I will be patient in both this application and with people. I know many people will give me feedback to help me improve, and I am willing to wait as long as it takes until I am the person people would want as their moderator. I am also very patient with people. I remind them, not bother them. I don't mind having to wait for people to get their proof, and I will drop what I am doing to help someone. I want to become mod so I can help more people. I know I can do that without being a moderator, and I help others as often as I can. But sometimes people don't take you seriously when you aren't a mod, and it is very hard to help someone who doesn't think you can help them. I thought for a while about why I want to become a moderator. I didn't do it as soon as I met the requirements, this isn't my 51st post. I don't just want to ban scammers and other people who break the rules, I want to help to put a stop to it. I know this is a big job and I won't be able to do it alone. I want to help all the other moderators get closer to this until it can be a reality. I want to help make it known that mods can find out. I also want to help people remember to take screenshots of trades. A goal I have is to stop fake messaging. It is done just to annoy people, and I think it should stop. I know what moderators have to do, and I am completely capable and willing to do it. How long can you be active on the server everyday? I can be on about 2-3 hours on weekdays, 5-6 on weekends. Have you ever been banned in the past? (Forums & In-game) I have been banned once in-game, but it was just a disagreement between coop members and it was an incorrect ban. I had a coop member who left the server and told another coop member and I we had dibs on his stuff, and we could take as much as we wanted. About six month later, he comes back. We tell him most of his stuff is at my island, he can have it back if he wants or join our island. Instead, he reports us and gets us banned. Since it was just a disagreement, we were both unbanned a few days later. Do you have any past experience as a moderator? I do not have any experience as a Minecraft moderator. If there is any place to start, I would love it to be Skyblock since it is a welcoming community. But, I have spent time doing community service and watching younger kids, so I know how to enforce rules and help people. Do you meet the requirements for staff?
