I've heard many players are having this issue, and I will explain why. Anti-cheat is mainly used for seeing if players are using fly hacks, many servers have this plug-in to stop fly hackers. Fly hacking is disallowed on this server, as long as some other hacks. This plug-in prevents new/old players coming on the server and using their fly hacks, speed hacks, etc. If you fall off your island, jump to a lower place, or nothing, it will temporarily ban you 30 seconds each time this happens. Although 30 seconds may seem like it's not a long time period and a player can just wait it out, you are right, but some players experience this issue constantly. If a player tries to reconnect after they got banned by the anti-cheat, they will be banned again 3/4 of the time. The only thing I can say for now to avoid it, is to not jump off any platforms. Some players are just getting banned for nothing, but many players get banned for jumping off their island so I would not do so until this plugin gets edited or removed. If you want to get down your island, you can /fly if you have it, use ladders to get down, but if you cannot do those things, you are able to ask a moderator to teleport you down, or just build stairs/ladders down. Moving on to flying. If you have /fly, you are probably experiencing the same probably many other players are having. /Fly would work for a while, but then you would get stuck in the air moving back and forth in little pieces. It's basically freezing, but with some movement moving you back and forth. Disabling /fly would not get you stuck in the air like that, but if you do not want to disable your fly you do not have to, since it does not happen often. We are trying to think of a solution on anti-cheat, either to remove it completely or make Cypriot make a few adjustments to it.
I've heard some hackers in net. Saying that the curse hack system doesn't work if that was legal I'd say anti cheat is preventing it soooooooo skyblock remove anti cheat (just keep the anti cheat for hacks)
yes, good advice Emerald. I also think of the anti-cheat of a way to keep players from dying in the void and losing their items. I know it's irritating, yet I have found it very useful when I was going to be doomed to die in the void. YES! This is an amazing server, Love your excitement Allie .
That's not how it works, though. I (and mana, many other players) don't just get banned "3/4 of the time" after we reconnect. It ALWAYS happens and that also means we can't avoid it, because we can't even join!
CypriotMerks said yesterday in a suggestions thread to remove anti-cheat that he upped the packets in the config. It should be fixed now, but the flying is still an issue.
