Yet many things that actually exist cannot be observed. Some very real scientific entities, such as magnetism, gravity, and electricity cannot be seen. Critical abstracts, such as numbers, sets, propositions, and properties, cannot be seen either. Yet they exist. Justice, goodness, and other morals are real, but they are also undetectable by the senses. The concepts of truth and love are invisible realities. Feelings and emotions surely exist although they cannot be observed in a direct manner. On the other hand, belief in the invisible biblical God is justified. His essence can’t actually be observed. However, His existence can be inferred as a reasonable explanation for the necessary realities of life, including the universe, abstract entities, ethical principles, human beings, and religious phenomena.

Can't we agree that science and religious beliefs are two distinct things that cannot be mixed yet can coexist in one same mind peacefully? Who are we to pretend to know HOW god, if he exists as we draw him, created everything.

The bible is a methaphorical transciption written hundreds or even thousands of years after the Event it describes occured, written by several unrelated people who could only rely on hearsays to write it down. Only very few parts of it remain today Standard for living and morality. For instance, no one would Stone to death a adultery wife nowaday, even if ordered to do so by deuteronomy. At least no christians...

I think asking if creationist or Evolutionist is asking for two totally unrelated Standards, asking your brain if he agrees with your heart, which we can agree they rarely do :)

Hi Wardalicious, I would be up for a further discussion in this thread if you are, if not that's alright too (would technically be an argument, but there's no saying it should be unprofessional.) When you say it is all 100% provable, I completely disagree, however I also don't want to pull any piece to critique upon myself (partly because it would make a case of Deuteronomy 15:12-15 condoning slavery and how "its the old testament it doesn't say that in the new one") and would rather you pull one to prove to me, again if you'd like to.

    Interesting PoV.

However, human behavior, such as feelings and emotions, can & have been been directly observed.
Such scientific entities you listed, while unseen, can be studied and observed. Religious entities & beliefs cannot, since they are simply beliefs based on faith in ancient literatures.

A book of astronomy says the Sun shrinks a foot every year so that means if the Earth was Millions of years old the Sun would have been So big it would have burnt the Earth up

Religious ideas, such as creationism, have survived so long due to many factors:

    - society lacked scientific and logical thinking hundreds of years ago, hence relied on religion to answer complicated questions. Still applies for some today.
    - parents pass such beliefs upon their offspring at a young age.
    - etc

Because you're too uneducated to have a logical argument with.

Your only argument is some article you found on the intetnet written by a creationist PhD.

The sun, like the trillions of other stars, doesn't "shrink."
According to the basic life cycle of an average star; stars are first formed from a stellar nebula. From there, they grow over millions of years into red giants.

Our sun will become a red giant in roughly 8 million years, which will destroy Earth and the rest of our solar system.
