5. Why do YOU think you were banned? I was banned because I griefed a donors island of 2 or 3 (not sure which) mob spawners in anger before leaving the island.
6. Was this an incorrect ban? It may seem like a correct ban, although in the circumstances it was incorrect.

On the night of Friday 22nd March, I agreed to buy four diamonds off siikfatninja for 150 iron (he was selling them for 40 iron each, so I got a 10 iron discount for buying four instead of 1). Upon buying 3 diamonds for 120 iron, I proceeded to buy the fourth for 30 iron (making 150 iron), although siikfatninja declined this. He took the 30 iron and demanded that I had to get another 10 iron otherwise I wouldn’t get the fourth diamond, leaving me in a difficult situation as I only had 4 iron left. I knew that I had to get 6 iron quickly or I would lose 30 iron without claiming the diamond. At that moment I noticed someone saying he was selling 10 iron for 20 grass. I asked him whether I could buy 6 iron for 12 grass and he said yes and agreed to meet me at, I think it was the skybase jail. In a rush I threw the 12 grass at him quickly, only to see him disappearing in front of my eyes, taking the grass without giving the iron, which enraged me even more. I now pleaded to siikfatninja to let me give 4 iron and 20 grass (which is easily worth 6 iron) and he reluctantly agreed and the final trade took place successfully. For me paying 4 iron and 20 grass extra is a lot and I was very angry and I logged off at his island. About 2/3 hours later I logged back on to find myself on his island, reminding me of the previous events. I found a diamond pickaxe in an unlocked chest and went and destroyed the mob spawners before putting the diamond pickaxe back in the chest where I found it and I left the island. The next day, I found myself regretting the act which I had just committed and when I logged on, I was greeted by a msg from siikfatninja saying ‘you’re going to be banned’. At this point, I was still feeling guilty and went to compensate him. I gave him 2 diamonds, some other stuff and the next day a mob spawner which I couldn’t give him the day before as there were no mods online to pick it up for me. He said we were fine again, there were no hard feelings (which I found hard to believe) and that he wouldn’t ban me. About 3 days later though, 8_pagey_8, another member of his island, refused to trade with me and demanded another mob spawner, threatening to ban me again if I didn’t give it to him. I believe this is blackmail and I refused. The next day, I logged on to find I was banned…



7. Why do you think you should be unbanned? As I explained in my long story, I felt extremely remorseful for the acts I committed on that day and I have fully compensated the island of the damage I caused. Secondly, this was my first offense I have ever committed. I have never griefed, looted or bridged before, I have never scammed anyone or abused anyone before, ever. Just one stupid and foolish act which I have fully compensated for has got me banned. If I could go back in time, I would never do this. I was fully aware, even before the event about how mods could do block tracking and it was guaranteed that I would be banned. As well as, I really like this server, it is the best skyblock server I have ever player on and has the best community to. As you can see, I have put a lot of time into this appeal showing how much I want to be unbanned and how much I like this server… Finally, this could have been prevented in so many ways… If siikfatninja hadn’t of messed me about, it wouldn’t have happened, if I didn’t get scammed whilst buying more iron, it probably wouldn’t have happened… I’m not denying what happened, although I am stating that other people added to the emotions which caused me to do such radical and inconsiderate action.

I hope you take this into account although my ban all rests on you, do what you think is right…

 

You indeed griefed Pixel's and Pagey's island.
Stealing some mob spawners, 2 brewing stands, an anvil and around 20 redstone.
I've given them their items back.
Since you have been banned for just 1 day now I'm going to leave this for a day to talk with a few other mods about it.

I really like the fact that you put much time and effort in this ban appeal and I might consider an unban.

 

I want to say this nice and simple.

First of all, I want to mention I am dirrectly involved with this because Eureka920 is guilty of two offenses.

The first offense is on this thread: Island got griefed. Waiting for roll back. | Skyblock Forums. 9:00 pm PDT (march 22nd) to 4:00 am PDT (march 23rd), I got griefed. It only took a few minutes for Mod Akrill to come to my island and ban the 2 griefers, but at that time, I thought they were the only ones griefing, it wasn't. Mod Saint came in (after waiting 6 hours) for a roll back and he wanted to log block the missing spawners. To my
suprise, Eureka920 name was identified and I requested a ban, but unfortunetly Mod Saint was
busy (IRL) and forgot to ban this player. I thought he did, so I didn't bother asking (yet). He may of only destroyed the spawners, but this was at the same time 2 other players destroyed my island costing a lot of resources, including 3 stacks of redstone from the stone gen.

Between the 2nd and 3rd offense, i noticed the player Eureka920 posted on my thread, A Little Give Away [Ends April 1st] | Page 2 | Skyblock Forums. I told Eureka920 that I don't understand why your not banned for destroying my spawners, you have not sent a ban appeal, so Mod Saint must of forgot. I thus told Mod Saint (less than 24 hours of the 2nd offense) that I believe he forgot to ban Eureka920 and Saint said he's out of town but he'll investigate into this when he's back.

The 2nd offense happened after I made the warning to Mod Saint that this player is still not banned and when I got off work yesterday (6-8 hour shift), i came back and saw my island was griefed again. Their were many mods online and 4-5 mods did investigation, found a few players involved and one was Eureka920. My first reaction was "OMFG I can't believe this guy came back (in numbers) and griefed my island again!!!"

I am the type of person to willing to forgive someone, I have a grudge against Eureka920 for his offenses, but here is a few comments.

1. I had this island for 3-4 months and the only two times it was griefed (in numbers), you were their when it happened.
2. Your first offense happened between March 22nd and March 23rd. You got off the hook because Mod Saint was out of town, but then you came back and you greifed us again between March 31st to April 1st? It's not UNTIL you got banned you made this post so I don't think your really sorry.
3. I know nothing about the blackmailing, as far as I know this is all bogus. Unless I see proof of this claim, I will consider it not true and demand your punishment be worse for lying.
4. Because you griefed us twice in the period of 1 week, I feel like if you get unbanned, you may do this again. It took me 6 hours (lots of waiting) to get my 3 spawners back after you took them and you didn't even go unpunished. If you felt guilty, you would of plead guilty to a mod beforehand and not go out and GRIEF MY ISLAND AGAIN and now make a appeal cause you got a punishment. I do not want you to waste my time or Mods times in future circumstances.
5. Even with the information above, I'm willing to forgive a person. I would like it if Eureka gets a pending unban for 7-10 days. If he can prove he got blackmailed, lower his unban to 2 days and based off the evidence, see if he can get refunded for what was unrightfully taken due to a bribe.

I look foward to incomming messages, I been waiting 1 week for this player to get banned and I don't think he should get off the hook that easily. Thanks.

Firstly, I have no idea of all these supposed griefs I have committed, I griefed ONCE, ON MY OWN, like I said in my innial post. I am on my own on my island (which im sure a mod can comfirm), I have no real communication with anyone (certainly not griefers) and I have no idea where all these other guys have come from.
Secondly, on Sunday night, (once I had already given the diamonds and mob spawner back to siikfatninja) 8_pagey_8 refused to trade grass blocks with me and asked for a mob spawner and this is 100% true. I have no proof of this, although if he says otherwise, he is lying...
Finally, I'm not 'lying my a**' as you kindly say,97% of this is true, the only false bit when i said 'it had the best community of any server...'
I wouldn't even bother unbanning me Lipokin as every donor and/or nondonors will believe them and the server will be unplayable anyway. Also, I doubt your'll be respected much if you go against them all and unban me...

 

Let's go into a conversation Eureka.

 

I just talked to 8_Pagey_8 about this blackmail thing and he said SiikFatNinja did bribe him. This changes a few things because I believe what Pagey said is true and I am the one who reported Eureka920.

Because of this, I forgive Eureka920. I would feel bad if I griefed, got bribed out of what I got, and then get banned early on. I also don't blame SiikFatNinja, Eureka went unpunished and demanded compensation. It's even possible that Eureka's committed his offense all in 1 day and got caught yesterday.

I talked to SiikFatNinja on skype, he does not admit to this and if anything, Eureka didn't pay his part on the transaction before the 1st offense. Because no one has proof of any of this stuff, i'll have to go wtih my gut.

So I think the best thing to do without giving EVERYONE A HEADACHE, is give Eureka920 a 2 day temp ban and have him at least promise not to grief again.

 

After reading all these post I've decided I'll keep you banned till Friday.
If I ever see you on any logblock again I will permanently ban you.

Btw, Eureka do you still know who scammed you ?

 

Firstly, of course I can promise I will never grief ever again because I won't. I have been to lots of rich donors island (such as young and revo) and explored whilst not touching anything.
I do want to reiterate though that this is the first and the last time I have/will ever grief, I don't enjoy griefing and I'm certainly not part of some 'griefing gang' (if they exist) who go round griefing on a regular basis.
I don't know who scammed me, he was probably one of those people who log on once, and won't log on again and I will never see him again...
