heh heh heh XD. I am not going to mention my political opinion, There are so many offended people, and we all have opinions. I just feel like if I was to mention my opinion, many people would get offended, and there would become a big fight.
The point of this thread was to express your opinions rather than hide them back in fear. Who cars what people think about you. You're you and they can't change that.
I know that. However stating my opinion would affect my reputation to others. I guess it's not like I can't. But I am hoping to apply for mod, and I am sure that if I stated my political opinion, there will be people who will become biased against me just for how I view things. So I am ok with not stating my political opinion. But I will say that I respect each of your own individual opinions.
Modding a minecraft server and what your political beliefs are are two completely different things. Fyi, on your application, it doesn't matter the amount of supports or no supports you get that gets you mod. It's about how hard you show cyp you want it. If anything I think hiding your beliefs only shows weakness in fear of what you believe in. As long as you aren't rude about it, state what you think rather than worry about what others would want you to think.
I am actually not afraid of what I believe in. To be honest, I am scared of all the people that are destroying buildings and the American flags, and whether or not I wish to discuss my opinion further is up to me. So really, the fact that you disagree with what I choose to do doesn't make any sense. I do know however, that people will be biased against my views. They will already be biased because of what I said above. . However, if they need opinions, I am not afraid to mention my opinions regarding this server (Which is more relevant). So no worries.
Sorry, I guess that stating that I don't wish to discuss my opinion in this discussion was a mistake. I actually don't find it nice that you assume that it is because I am afraid to discuss it. It's actually more for the sake of not coming off as offendsive to others.
The only thing I disagree with what you said is that people will become biased once you apply for mod. This doesn't matter as its not exactly the community that picks who's promoted, but cyp.
Honestly what was the point of posting here in the first place if you didn't want to state your opinion anyway? What progress have you made letting everyone know that your opinions are offensive to others? You actually go right back to what I'm talking about after you call me 'not nice for assuming your fear' You have fear of offending others and making them biased to dislike you. Everyone can't like you and everyone goings to find something to pick on you about so what's the point of not stating what you believe in?
I know. So I guess. But still, I feel like I would do better as moderator if I have the support of many. Not only that, but it would make me more approachable as a mod if I try to come off as open minded. I guess my opinion is that things are ridiculous XD. However I respect the views of others.
