The past few days I've noticed that I don't always get notifications of people posting on my page or threads, and that some others don't get notified of their being tagged to my posts.
I've also seen notifications come up hours after a person posting.
Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me?

Xenforo can't keep up with your Level of activity.

    :t

I have that as well, quite often in fact. I see by chance that I have unreads in threads I follow but got no notification.

Yeah the few times my mod application gets a review :depressed it doesn't notify me despite me watching the thread. I'm fine with obsessively checking it though *twitch*.

For threads, a lot of times, there's a post Xenforo hasn't registered that you've read, and won't give you further alerts for the thread because it hasn't registered that you read the first alert. Don't know if that's the problem, but that's happened to me multiple times

It happens quite a lot to everyone. This is why often quoting mods rather than tagging is better

What do you mean, quoting mods?

Well basically doing what I do just now.
All you have to do is do this:
    - Reply to a thread.
    - Copy the quote.
    - You can edit it to any message like punctuation, e.g full stop.
    - and that's about it.

Should look a bit like this:
    :)
