No. 1# priority since 4/16/2017


(INTRODUCTION) With the recent announcement by Cypriotmerkz stating that he might enable hoppers if he knows all the glitches are fixed (see; Anybody want a monopoly game? | Skyblock Forums page 1) I would have the capabilities for many new redstone directions, including the new ability to be able to create user input systems.

('NORMAL' STUFF) With the addition of this, it is now possible for me to build a siri-type AI. The build would be manpower and recourse hefty (imaginable) and would probably fill the bigger part of one island with redstone, and even more if you want to make it reference HAL 9000 With the input designed it would be possible for users to give it questions that aren't phrased in a certain way. For example the question; "is island farming illegal" could be detected by the machine as:

"i think island farming is illegal"
"i want to know if island farming is illegal"
"can i island farm"
"i want to island farm"
and countless other variations. Beside from it replacing a good chunk of what minimods do, it could also have some basic conversations depending on the size.






(NERD STUFF) You can imagine how big this will be to just calculate all the possible possibilities of what answer the user might want, and how big the internal memory would be (as well as the memory access) to store all that information. Then the UI to display the outcome would be hefty too.


(HELP REQUEST) If hoppers get enabled, I'll be looking for some people to just copy what I built a piece of over and over again, for example memory or/and decision making systems that decide what the user wants.

Sadly user input would still be a bit tedious. I expect you'll need to write each word of your sentence on a single piece of paper (which I will give out for free if I get to steal all of Sugarcane's sugarcane) and then throw them in, then shoot an arrow at a 'done' button or step on a pressure plate.

But hey, it's the best I can do since redstone can't recognize chat messages.
