You want to know why it's dying, it's because people have to make Skyblock look like a bad server by making these threads. These players are putting a bad image on the server, when in reality, the server is great! Sure there are a lot of negatives to the server, but as Eric Idle once sang, "Always look on the bright side of life!" So STOP posting these threads and be positive!

I've read through some of these threads and find that the only reason why people are creating them is just to hop on a band wagon and get a few ratings unfortunately...

i mean im not shocked theyre a thing. the server goes through its ups and downs and players exaggerate these things as much as they feel like. although the server is on a downward slope with skyblock getting old

I reckon that half of them just want likes, all of them just diss at the server, many do not provide solutions.

They were a thing two years ago and they're still a thing today. Some people like to be pessimistic, is all. Right now the player base isn't what it was, but Cypriot has made several solid changes that I'm sure will draw players in. Even if it doesn't, skyblock definitely isn't dying.

 

There was another one made by Epic_Eddie I believe.

 

My intent in my thread was not to make the server look bad, but however to voice my concerns about it. I have been on other servers in my time, and this is the first server I have ever seen that has these kinds of issues. I have seen servers that hold thousands of players and doesn't require cooldowns or time taking commands to reduce it's lag. I know one in particular that I play that has never had these issues, but rather it grows more and more in popularity instead of going up and down like skyblock is. To be quite blunt, this is the only server that I have known so far to have this issue of ups and downs. I must reiterate once again that the purpose of my thread was to voice my concerns, not to make the server look bad.

exactly. It's an open ended question with multiple different answers. I want to hear multiple views in that discussion, not just those who think it's dying. Maybe I should have reworded it, but it was not intended to be a full on skyblock is dying thread. I would very much appreciate it if people who think skyblock is still going to post their opinions. I currently hold the view that just the popularity is dying now, and not the server. I try my best not to conform to one single view, and I am open to other viewpoints. If there are any of you who don't think it is dying, I would love to hear your opinions. There are some people I have discussed, talked to, and heard from that showed me their point of view which also affected mine. Yes, the server isn't dying, but the popularity is in my opinion. I would love to hear from all people's views not just those who agree with me.

 

THIS is a quality thread. Just keep updating the list until its demise.
