About 30 minutes ago, the server got disconnected and everyone got kicked. The forums shortly closed. After about 10 minutes, the server opened, but it took another 5 minutes for the forums to open. Right now, org is offline..

 

Could've been just a normal reset?

Minecraft is dying? Have you seen the recent sales? I believe it's like the second best selling game of all time, behind Tetris, but c'mon, Tetris has been ported to essentially toasters, and it's old.
