It's not his fault it's a pointless perk. If they were going to add potion effects why don't they do something useful like regeneration, health boost, speed, etc. Nightvision is just dumb. You don't even need a hacked client. Just download uphairs light map. It's a texture pack that is compatible with everything and just makes it look like full bright. I'll be perfectly honest too: you're wrong. Chances are, the ten dollars a twelve year-old kid stole from their mommy's credit card won't be going to keeping the server up (more likely it goes into Cypriot's pocket so he can purchase some crisp new CS:GO skins). Never in this post did he say "don't donate," he said "there are better ways to get the same results." No one donates solely for the purpose of 'helping the server.' They donate for perks, and this 'perk,' isn't worth $10. There are better things to get in the shop for that money, and perhaps they could add a few dollars and get something even more worthwhile. Win-win situation. And for the record, money going into this server is part of what's causing its death. It's not as if the owner(s) care more about money than they do for the wellbeing of the server now, right? -xxx- It doesn't matter what method of increasing brightness you use, whether it be gamma, hacks, or night vision potions. They create the same effect and thus cause the same amount of strain on your computer. I swear to God, your posts get stupider by the day.
With so many alternatives, why did Cyp ever think people would go for this? There comes a time where if you're THAT desperate for more money, come up with something more creative than this

True. The point of this anyways was to warn people not to spend money on perk that's pointless. Not as Krissy said to out right not support the server. So I do agree with you. Though I'd still like to see what Krissy has to say about the manor. Doesn't matter anyway. If I get banned, so be it, just asking for an opinion. <####
This can be considered a cosmetic perk IMHO, so after updating the server to 1.9 this could be one of the last perks remaining. Or in other words: get used to [edited] perks.
